Cannadaddy I germinated the plants on monday, june 18th. Rachele and Lucy had exposed taproots within 16 hours. Followed by Jane in 24 hours and Cindy in 36 hours. They were germinated by soaking in water for 10 hours then putting in a wet paper towel, placed in a Ziploc bag. Once the taproot was exposed i placed them in to their 5 galon fabric pots filled with Fox Farms Ocean Forest.

Cannadaddy This week is starting off great. The genetics of these girls are amazing. They are very healthy and fast growing. I look over my plants before i go to work, i come back 12 hours later and there is a very noticeable difference in size in that short amount of time. By the rate at which they are growing, i assume that they'll be ready to flip to flowering in just 1 more month.. unless their growing slows down.

Cannadaddy Another week has gone by and my girls are healthy as ever. They have started to smell like cannabis, which is crazy because everything I've read says that they wont start to smell until they flower. Their stalks are thick and striped, leaves dark green and healthy. I will need to top the girls and start LST this week. I feel bad about having to cut a part of them off, but it will help them grow better im the long run.
Your plants are looking beautiful! It's funny that you say that you are noticing smell already, I started noticing a grassy smell on day 22 and it's getting more potent as time goes on.
This is my first grow and i am trying to be as budget friendly as possible. So far the grow has cost me roughly $250 USD. Here is a list of my items and prices.. used 1000w HPS light with 2 inline fans: $70, 4 sweet cheese seeds from sweet seeds $30, 2 bags of fox farms ocean forest soil $80, 6 pack emergency mylar blankets $6, flora nova bloom/grow & calmag $30, ph up/down $16, fabric 5 gallon pots $10, cannagrow digital socket timer $12, watering can $3, digital ph meter $13, 4 run off water collection trays $4, the fans I've had around my house and the digital temperature/humidity sensor was free. A lot of the stuff I've got was from Amazon, the rest was from the 99 cent store, thrift stores, and Craigslist for the light.
