deFharo Welcome, marijuana growers! 🖐️ 👨🌾
I'm starting a new growing season, I'm going to grow six plants... let's play! 😁
This time, I'm repeating the grow for the third time, these are homemade and mixed seeds, a spontaneous cross between Queen Mother x Purple Shot.
I put the seed in a glass of hot water, kept it there for 24 hours, then placed it between damp cotton, 2 days later the seed still hadn't germinated, frustrated and impatient I started germinating a second seed, 24 hours later the first seed germinated, and 48 hours later the second seed also germinated... and inevitably I'm going to grow both plants, the more vigorous one will get an 11-liter pot, the other a more modest 7-liter pot.
I waited another 24 hours before transferring the seeds to small pots with elevated bottoms and a dome. I fit 3 pots to elevate the bottom, this technique helps to get many vertical roots, guided by gravity and also aerates the substrate from the base.
I prepared a light substrate based on peat and coconut fiber, added some worm humus.
Until 3 days ago, I had the small pots in the filtered light of a window and sleeping at night, now they are enclosed in the grow tent with 24 hours of light with two 33w LED panels, one with 7700K white light and the other Royal Blue at 450nm.
😁 UNTIL NEXT TIME. CHEERS AND GREETINGS TO EVERYONE!

Seed spontaneously born over a year ago in my rebellious garden, the female was Queen Mother, pollinated by a hermaphrodite Purple Shot plant, which has resulted in a phenotype of beautiful and dark buds, preserving the original penetrating aromas of Queen Mother intact.

Queen Mother is a stabilized sativa strain, thanks to the meticulous and systematic work of selection and maintenance of the strain, which breeder Mario Bellandi, based in Spain for over 30 years, develops tirelessly and with the utmost consistency.
The initial cross of this strain, which remains intact today, emerged in the late 90s between an unknown sativa, grown in the highlands of Tarragona (Spain) by the same person since the 60s, some seeds from the island of Réunion, and seeds from a stabilized cross of two Congolese landraces...

deFharo Welcome, cannabis growers! 🖐️ 👨🌾
Almost two weeks since the seeds germinated.
The seedling is progressing, the second seed I germinated is winning the battle, although the leaves are growing deformed, I hope it corrects itself as the grow advances. The first seed that germinated is stalled, only keeping the cotyledons visible; this issue is what I call: Blind Eye. So I'm going to continue with this second seed, but I will transplant it to a 3.5L pot, and this way maybe I can fit it into the grow tent as the seventh plant.
The roots are coming out from the base, the small pots with elevated bottoms cause a great vertical expansion of the roots, guided by gravity and by the moisture I keep in the tray.
I keep the plants under 24 hours of light, during the day the seedlings live behind a window, absorbing the unmatched color spectrum of the sun, when day gives way to night, I put the seedlings in the grow tent and light them with two LED panels, one with white light at 7700K and another blue at 450nm. Total 66w consumption.
