Lf1190 Germination (Days 1–6): I germinated the seeds in soil plugs, and every seed broke through within two days. Humidity stayed around 80–85% during germination. As soon as each seedling emerged, I moved it straight into its final 11 L fabric pot of BioBizz Light-Mix, so the roots could grow out of the plug and into the new soil quickly. The light was set conservatively at 30% power, and I gave small amounts of water only around the stem, so the pots wouldn't get soaked and the roots would have to reach out for water. I also gave a tiny dose of Supervit (0.2 ml). Humidity has since settled at 65–75%. Day 3: They're doing well, I'd say. One seedling had helmet head, but it looks healthy overall, so for now I'm leaving it to see whether it recovers and shows potential. Day 5: I'm not sure what to do with the little one. I'll give it a couple more days to see if it recovers; otherwise I'll germinate another seed.

Lf1190 Day 7: I removed the small Royal Jack Auto, since it hadn't shown any growth in the past 48 hours, and I'm germinating a new seed for the tent today. The remaining plants look robust and are growing fast. For now they're getting plain water only, and I'll water again mid-week. Next week I'll add a little nitrogen, some micronutrients and a drop of Supervit. The light is 35 cm above the canopy. It's a dimmable Mars Hydro, currently set at around 30–35%, so every plant gets roughly the same amount of light. Below is a conversion Gemini gave me. Lighting data (Day 7) - Lamp: Mars Hydro TS2000 - Height: 35 cm above the plant tops - Dimmer: 30–35% - Foot-candles: 940–1,100 FC - Lux: 10,114–11,836 lux - PPFD: 151–176 μmol/m²/s I'll wait until every plant has its third set of leaves before raising the power to around 40–45%. My usual light schedule for autoflowers: - Days 9–14 (early veg, third leaf set): 40% dimmer, about 200–250 PPFD - Days 15–21 (mid veg, multiple nodes): 50–60% dimmer, about 350–450 PPFD - Days 22–28 (late veg, pre-flower): 70–80% dimmer, about 550–650 PPFD - Flowering (week 5 onward): 100%, about 700–900+ PPFD Day 8: Thick, short stems with no stretching, and the second set of true leaves is fully formed. Day 9: 150 ml of water each, poured in a ring 6–7 cm from the stem. Day 10: The third and fourth sets of leaves are coming in strong. The structure is very compact and the leaves are a healthy, firm green. I gave each plant a single drop of Supervit. I plan to raise the dimmer to about 40% in the next day or two, depending on how the Royal Jack develops. I'll also raise the lamp a little, because the plants are getting taller and I don't want the new seedling to struggle right under it. Day 11: The replacement Royal Jack seed germinated today. The two Atlas are compact, with short internodes and no stretching. The Royal Jack is a little smaller, with narrower, slightly darker leaves, but it looks healthy. Day 12: I raised the lamp a few centimetres and set the dimmer to 40%. The replacement Royal Jack went into its 11 L pot, watered around the plug with Easy Root bacteria, under a cut-bottle dome to keep the humidity up. The larger plants are starting to push side branches. Day 13: No stress from the jump to 40%. The Atlas leaves are wide and well spread, with new side shoots at the nodes. The Royal Jack has put out a new set of leaves and is growing day by day, just more slowly than the Atlas. The replacement's cotyledons are open and healthy. Day 14: Today the three larger plants (2x Atlas F1 Auto, 1x Royal Jack Auto) got their first feed, RQS Easy Grow plus Easy Plus, at 30% of the recommended dose. The Easy Grow tablet is 3 g for 10 L of water, so I used 0.06 g in 0.7 L: about 260 ml for each Atlas and 160 ml for the Royal Jack, poured around the edge of the canopy rather than at the stem. I'm starting low on purpose: you can always add more nutrients later, but you can't take them out. There's also already 50 g of Easy Boost mixed into the soil. With autoflowers I always use bottled water during veg. The water I drink has a perfect pH of 6.3, but it's low in calcium and magnesium, which is why I've already added some Easy Plus. The last plain watering was on day 9 (150 ml each). All three look healthy and compact, with no stretching. The replacement Royal Jack stays under its dome until its first true leaves appear. The light is at 40%, about 40 cm above the plants. Next step is 50% for days 15–21.

Lf1190 Day 15: All plants are showing excellent vigor and healthy green leaf color. Zero signs of nutrient burn or stress after the first light feeding. Leaves are perky and showing great turgor pressure. Feeding & Watering Strategy: - First mild feeding applied at Day 14. - Water used: Lauretana (very low mineral composition, ph 6.3). - Nutrients: RQS Easy Grow Tablets (30% strength) + RQS Easy Plus Micronutrients (30% strength) to rebalance Ca/Mg profile. - Next watering will be pure water only to ensure no salt buildup in the fabric pots. Genetics update: - Atlas seeds showing high vigor and larger canopy expansion. - Royal Jack following with steady, healthy vegetative development. The little one is also growing very well I also started LST on the two AtlasF1 Day 16: After starting LST on the two Atlas yesterday, I checked the ties again today and eased them a little. The main stems are still bent gently with the green wire and show no cracks. Both plants look healthy: firm green leaves, no tip burn from the Day 14 feed, and side shoots filling in along the nodes. I'll keep easing the wire every day or two in the same direction so the canopy stays flat, and I'll stop once the first pistils appear. Day 17: Top soil was dry, so the three larger plants got plain water ph 6.3 today no nutrients. Climate is on target: 26 °C and 60% RH. I raised the light dimmer to 55–60% at about 38–40 cm above the tops, based on my mid-veg schedule for days 15–21. The two Atlas are responding well to LST: open canopy, side shoots climbing, green leaves, and still no tip burn from the Day 14 feed(a note below about feeding schedule). The established Royal Jack is still smaller than the Atlas but looks healthy and is catching up. The replacement Royal Jack now has its first true leaves, with a bit of light mottling on the cotyledons. I'm leaving the bottle off for stretches of the day and giving it only plain water around the stem Next Easy Grow plus Easy Plus feed is around day 19–20, still at a low dose. **Quick correction to Day 14** Last week I wrote that one Easy Grow tablet (3 g) is for 10 L of water that was wrong and I now realized I spent 4 years believing so. The label is 1 tablet in 3–5 L. So full strength is about 0.6–1.0 g per litre, not 0.3 g/L. The 0.06 g I mixed into 0.7 L was only about 9–14% of real full strength, not the 30% I thought. Next feeds I'll dose against the 3–5 L range. At the next watering, I will also start applying BiggerFlowers at 0.2 ml/l. Day 18: No watering today(besides for the little one that got 75ml of water ph 6.3), since the pots were still moist from yesterday. The two Atlas are really opening up with LST: lots of side shoots climbing toward the light, firm green leaves, and still no tip burn. The Royal Jack is wired down too and starting to take shape. The replacement now has two sets of true leaves, clean and healthy, with no sign of yesterday's light mottling. The light stays at 55–60% at 38–40 cm. The next feed is planned for when the top soil dries, probably tomorrow : Easy Grow plus Bigger Flowers, both at a low dose. Day 19: No watering today either. The soil isn't wet anymore, but it's still a little moist, so I'll wait until tomorrow and let the roots get some oxygen. I readjusted the LST wires on the plants to keep the canopy flat. Everything looks good: healthy green leaves and steady **THE IMPORTANCE OF LETTING THE SOIL DRY** A lot of people think plants need water all the time, so they end up overwatering. I have a friend who still doesn't get why letting the soil dry out matters, and he never managed to grow a single healthy plant through to the end. He also overfed his plants a lot, then quit growing, saying his setup wasn't good enough. It wasn't the setup: which was an “honest” se tup. So this one's for anyone new here: LET YOUR SOUL DRY, and don't overfeed your plants, especially autoflowers! Roots need oxygen just as much as they need water. As the pot drains and dries out, air gets drawn back into the soil, so the roots can breathe and spread out looking for moisture. That's what builds a bigger, stronger root system. When the soil stays wet all the time, the roots sit without oxygen, growth slows, the leaves droop, and you're inviting root rot and fungus gnats. Day 20: Second feed today, a full liter at pH 6.2 with 0.7 g Easy Grow, 0.2 g Easy Plus, 1 ml Bigger Flowers, 4 g Trichoderma and a single drop of Supervit. That's a clear step up from the first feed, which was only around 14% of full strength. I want the plants well fed before the stretch starts, and the Easy Boost in the soil releases slowly, so I'm keeping an eye on the leaf tips over the next few days. The two Atlas are flat and full of side shoots with an even green, the Royal Jack is smaller but healthy and wired, and the replacement is growing slowly with new true leaves. Light is still at 55–60% at 38–40 cm. Tomorrow I'll go up to 70–80%.
