GreenHobbit Maple Leaf Indica – Sensi Seeds 🍁
Three seeds, one diary.
With the Maple Leaf Indica, the start is a bit more interesting, as I planted three regular seeds. All three have successfully germinated and are now above the soil. 💚
Already, MLI #1, #2, and #3 are developing a bit differently – that's why all three will initially be grown under the same conditions. Nothing will be sorted out just yet.
Later, it will be exciting to compare growth, structure, internodes, and branching. And at some point, of course, the crucial question will come: Which of you three is actually a lady? 💃🤣
Until then, all three get to show what they’ve got.
3/3 Maple Leaf Indica successfully started. 🍁

GreenHobbit 🌿 Maple Leaf Indica – Veg Week 1
Sensi Seeds | Oldschool Genetics 🌱
The first week of veg is done, and my three Maple Leaf Indicas are already showing that this run won't be boring. 😅
On September 26th, I started with three regular seeds from Sensi Seeds. All three have successfully germinated and now have to prove themselves. After all, I don't know yet with regular seeds who will turn out to be a girl and who will be a boy. 😂
The three are currently still in their small seedling pots with Floragard Growmix, under the Spider Farmer SE1500 in a 70×70 tent.
The current setup:
* 💡 Spider Farmer SE1500 – 34% power, 40 cm distance
* 🌡️ Temperature: 18–25 °C
* 💧 Humidity: 65%
* pH: 6.0–6.3
* 🌱 Substrate: Floragard Growmix
Already in the first photos on October 6th, it was noticeable that all three had gotten quite long legs. Especially #1 seemed to want to reach for the light as quickly as possible. 😅 Nevertheless, the first proper leaf pairs developed, and all three initially looked quite lively.
By October 8th, the leaves had already grown significantly, and the next shoots appeared. The differences between the three candidates were also slowly becoming visible.
MLI #1 is currently the slimmest and longest-legged of the trio. She has built up a decent leaf area but is now showing slightly wavy leaves and slightly drooping leaf tips.
MLI #2 is currently my little problem child. Her leaves are developing quite irregularly, are somewhat twisted, crumpled, and show spotted lightening. Growth is present, but something seems to be off for her. Whether it's due to genetics or the conditions is still unclear.
MLI #3 is currently making the best overall impression. She is developing her leaves much more evenly and appears the strongest of the three. She is also a bit long-legged but has shown the fewest abnormalities so far.
By October 14th, all three had developed more leaf pairs. Particularly with #2, the deformations are now clearly visible. I will therefore observe the development closely instead of immediately starting any wild countermeasures.
The climate values are overall quite decent. Whether the lighting was responsible for the initial stretching, I can't say for sure without a PPFD measurement.
My conclusion: 🌱
Three seeds, three plants, and already three quite different characters! 😁
#3 is currently ahead visually, #1 is slowly catching up, and #2 is doing her own thing. But nothing is decided yet.
And with regular seeds, the real surprise usually comes later anyway. Hopefully, at least one or two girls will stick around. 🤞😂
Happy Growing! 💚🌿
