GreenHobbit Blue Sunset Sherbert
Sunset starts green. 🌅💚
The Blue Sunset Sherbert has made a nice start. It initially stretched a bit upwards, but it's already building up a good amount of leaf mass at the top.
The first true leaf pair is well-developed, and the next shoot is already ready to go.
So far: long neck, green head, and everything is on track. 🤣

GreenHobbit 🌱 Blue Sunset Sherbert – Vegetative Week 1 💙🌅
Barney’s Farm | The Green Nine – Newschool Edition
The first week of veg is done, and my Blue Sunset Sherbert is doing really well! 😎💚
After germination on 09/26, the little lady initially stretched up a bit. A pretty long, thin stem and not much leaf mass at first. But that should change significantly over the week! 😏
By 10/08, the first true leaf pairs were already well developed, and the next shoot was ready to go. Six days later, on 10/14, things looked quite different. Much larger leaves, several developed nodes, and a nice, strong crown. Someone is clearly eager to grow! 🌱💪
I find it particularly interesting that the upper internodes are now noticeably shorter than the long stem from the early days. The stem is also slowly getting sturdier.
The leaf color is overall a nice green. The fresh growth appears a bit lighter, and the younger leaves have a slightly wavy structure. So far, nothing that worries me too much.
💡 Setup & Climate
* Tent: Spider Farmer 70 × 70 × 160 cm
* Lighting: Spider Farmer SE1500, 150 W
* Power: 34 %
* Lamp distance: 40 cm
* Temperature: 18–25 °C
* Humidity: 65 %
* pH: 6.0–6.3
* Substrate: Floragard Growmix
* Pot: Small seedling pot
I haven't repotted yet. The little lady is still in her first seedling pot and can form some roots there before moving to the next pot.
🌿 Weekly Summary
A nice start to the vegetative phase! The Blue Sunset Sherbert has built up a good amount of leaf mass in just a few days and is becoming increasingly compact.
The somewhat spindly start is still clearly visible, but it doesn't bother me too much. When I repot later, I can plant the root ball a bit deeper anyway. 😉
So far, no major issues, no noticeable damage, and a nice, fresh growth.
The first week of veg is in the books! Let's see how the lady from the Newschool trio develops in the coming days. 😏💚🌱
Happy Growing! ✌️
