CannaNotion We started a new diary with this run of Lemons, seeds obtained in a contest from UKHTA Genetics on Growdiaries. They look really good, and we're going to try to get the maximum potential out of them and achieve that precious lemon terpene.
📅 On Monday 21/09, I put the seeds to germinate in a glass of water, and after 24 hours, they went to a damp paper towel. After another 24 hours, several seeds had opened, but I decided to wait until they all finished opening. Again, 24 hours later, and after 72 hours of the first hydration of the seeds, they were planted in 1L pots with substrate amended by me. I did a runoff test of the substrate, and it came out at 6.5 pH and 0.4 EC, leaving a light substrate to start this run.
🌱 4 out of 5 have germinated.
📝 Note from 27/09. There are already several plants that have sprouted from the soil, so I think by the beginning of next week, they will all be out.
📌 For now, they will stay in the propagation tray until they sprout and develop a couple of true leaves. It's still warm around here, but the nights are starting to feel cooler, which is when the lights turn on.
I'll keep posting pictures, and we'll see the progress of this grow together.

CannaNotion 🆙 Update 04/10/2026
🌰 Day 14 since germination in water glass
🌱 Day 7 seedling phase
It’s been a full 2 weeks since I germinated these seeds and the final count is as follows:
Candy House 4/5
Grapes 5/5
Lemons 4/5
Runts 3/3
In total, 16 seeds germinated to form a 4x4 in 7-liter or 11-liter pots, I haven't decided yet.
It seems that the reused substrate + the donkey manure amendment is doing well, although it takes a bit to dry. I think it’s because the dehumidifier is keeping humidity at 70-75%.
On October 3rd, they received their first watering. I made a mix of 3L with 3ml of Roots from Mills Nutrients and 5 drops of Vitalize, also from Mills. Each one received about 100ml of water, without reaching runoff.
It’s been a calm week, I only had to put a pencil on Candy House #2 since it was stretching. I turned on the bars of the top shelf of the cloning station, adding an extra light supplement. A total of 80w for the seedling phase.

CannaNotion 🆙 Update 11/10/2026
🌰 Day 21 since germination in water
🌱 Day 7 growth phase.
We started the growth phase
Temperature is still fluctuating around 24-27ºC, as it gets a bit warm during the day and the house isn’t cold, but humidity is stable.
They have only received one watering on 9/11 and I already started using Calmag in the mix with 2 ml of Calmag, 3 ml of Start-R from Mills, and a few drops of Vitalize, raising the EC to 0.6 with a pH of 6.3. Mixed in 3L and I’m increasing the watering to 150ml for each one.

CannaNotion 🆙 Update 10/18/2026 ()
🌰 Day 28 since germination in water cup
🌱 Day 14 growth phase.
We're continuing with the growth phase and finally, the plants are in their final 7L pots. The transplant was done on 10/17.
The temperature has started to drop, with lows of 19ºC... I need to find the heating mats and set them up, at least to keep the root ball from getting too cold.
Once transplanted, they received a watering with just water and a few drops of Vitalize.
The heavier tasks are done, now I just need to water them weekly, and in 2 weeks I think I’ll switch them to flowering. I’m not going to do any pruning, to see the plants in their natural form. Although I do want to take at least one cutting from each, just in case we have a unicorn on our hands.
I’m leaving some pics, which are from Sunday 10/18, but I couldn't update the diary like every Sunday.
