Professor_Chaos I floated her in a cup of water until she sank and cracked open (typically 8 - 48 hours). I don't like to wait for the tap root to grow because I don't want to damage it. As soon as I see it crack open, I put it into the rockwool cube.

Professor_Chaos She is doing well. I was having issues with biofilm from my tap water with previous attempts. I couldn't get rid of it with bleach or H2O2. I finally bit the bullet and started buying distilled water. Everything is going well now. I also have been using Hydroguard.

Professor_Chaos This week went well. The coloration on the roots had me scared but it's just nutrient stain. It actually rinses off very easily. I can literally just dunk the roots in the reservoir a couple times and they're clean.
