The808Mango Seed was germinated in a glass of water and allowed tap root to grow about 2-3mm to have sufficient depth when planting in substrate. It was placed in a 5gal fabric pot outdoors.
Substrate for this grow is FFOF and FFHF with added perlite, sprinkle of myco around the seedling and home made worm castings.
The goal with this grow is a type of hybrid grow; start outdoors and will then flower and finish indoors.

The808Mango In week one, girl has been growing pretty strong after her first true leaves set in, however it seems like we’ve got pests already hitting her up. After letting her grow out a bit till her second set of true leaves begin to emerge, I begin spraying Lost Coast Plant therapy, which has been working very well.
Because the soil is very hot and she’s still very small, I just hand fed plain tap pH downed water.
Throughout the week, we’ve been getting hit with a lot of heavy rains, so I’ve been moving the pot under my patio and shielding her from most of the rain. She’s been soaked a few times since I’m at work for most of the daylight hours. But we’ll see how stunted she’ll be

The808Mango 10/10 lost coast has been working well keeping new growth untouched. But seems we have leaf miners burrowing into her lower growth.
The heavy rains have made it difficult to time and get a proper dryback with my work schedule. So some days, she’s hung out under my patio all day and night; which honestly is not a problem with this island sun and humidity. But for the past two days my area’s been getting very lucky with uninterrupted sun, so she’s back out in the garden and I can finally water and start feeding nutrients and finally get in some silica and CalMag. But that’s why she’s been looking kind of sad and light green.
Being this has been my first outdoor grow, it’s pretty brutal lol. But this is definitely a learning experience and an very grateful!
