tactical_corn 03.X: Filled the pot with the soil up to 3cm below the rim and flushed with 3l of pH 5.8 water. The soil settled down way more than expected but seems to be at an OK level. Planted the seed directly into the soil at ~1.5cm hole and covered with the ground;
.X: Saw the seedling emerging during the day;

tactical_corn 07.X: The seedling emerged from the ground, though it was crooked (that's how this diary got its name). Was afraid that it's going to stay like this, but it stretched right through the day;
.X: The seedling is stretching maybe too high, figured I've messed up a bit with the PPFD, adjusted right away to ~200 mkmol/m2/s. Added the toothpicks to support the main cola;
.X: The first 2-3cm of soil are still somewhat wet, will water tomorrow. No nutrients yet as the All-Mix should (tm) contain enough for the first weeks of grow:
.X: Watered the circle around the plant with 300ml pH 6.0 plain water:
.X: Noticed that the first true leaves are wrinkled with the microscopic white dots and quite pale green at the stem. Under a loupe it turned out to be trichomes, and the pale green colour is not that pale under the different light;
.X: Watered the full pot area with 500ml pH 6.0 plain water to equal the soil wetness around the pot. The new pair of true leaves started to emerge.
.X: The soil was surprisingly dry, watered it twice with 0.45l pH 5.8 plain water, 2 minutes interval. Soil pH is 6.4-6.6. Lowered the lights to 45cm above the tip of the plant, switched the spectrum to Vegetative, raised the intensity to match the PPFD of ~310. Yesterday in the evening noticed the slow disappearing of pale green colour, but it came back this morning, so it was the thirst, I guess.

tactical_corn 14.X: Growing. The new set of leaves looks malformed, but healthy coloured. No watering yet. Soil pH is 6.3-6.6 (lower at the bottom, higher at the top).
.X: Her crooked majesty continues to grow. Seems like the new leaves look a bit better than the first pair. Perhaps it all was either the nutrient problem from All-Mix soil, or simply genetics.
.X: Watered with 500ml plain pH 5.9 water (covered the whole pot area). The soil pH is 6.4-6.6, will try to lower it down with the next watering.
.X: The new leaves are definitely looking better than the old ones and the stem is strengthening. Soil is getting dry, will water tomorrow.
.X: Watered with 1L pH 5.8 water, added CalMag 1 ml/L this time.
.X: Noticed one of the old true leaves started to curl on only one side. The new leaves look good though.
.X: Wrapping up week 2. Noticed another leaf curling that happens ONLY on one side of a leaf. Interestingly enough, it happens only on the 2nd pair of true leaves. Besides that, noticed the new leaf-pairs growing on the stem junctions in between the 1st and 2nd pairs of true leaves. Will start LST somewhere in the next week.

tactical_corn 21.X: Watered today with 2L pH 5.8 water with the first real feeding of BioGrow of 2 ml/L and CalMag 1ml/L. Also started LST, bent the main cola down with the second real leaves pairs' branches. So far, it looks good. Maybe a bit worried it practically hits the pot rim, but I expect it to straighten up.
.X: Figured out I can just wrap the pot rims down, so now the leaves have all the space they need. As expected, the main stem has straightened up a bit, so will continue with the training tomorrow. Also noticed the leaves curling and wrinkling at the junctions, so I guess I have overfed her somehow. Will monitor for the next days and use only plain water next time.
.X: Adjusted ties to make space for the new leaf pairs, made it more horizontal. The soil pH is around 6.5 and still wet. New leaves look good, not taco-ing up.
.X: Recovering just alright, waiting for the soil to be dry enough for watering and the branches to grow bigger to re-adjust the ties.
.X: Watered with 2L pH 5.2 water with CalMag 1ml/L to bring the soil pH down (around 6.2-6.3 now). Re-adjusted the ties, made more space for the new branches to have some light and grow.
.X: Responded well to another LST adjustment. New leaves look malformed though (I HOPE it's due to light starvation and the stress I caused them while re-adjusting the plant ties). Will continue the observation.
X: I'm an idiot. Have you ever asked your barber to do a slight trim but they would make a buzzcut instead? That's what happened during the defoliation. :/ Not only could I not stop removing the old leaves, I accidentally removed one new node and almost ripped off another one. I'm praying to whatever/whoever is out there for her to recover from this butchering I did to her.

tactical_corn 28.X: Good news: she's still growing after the humiliation I did to her! The leaves which were in the shadows look malformed and sick, but under the loupe no pests were found, so I guess it was just light deficiency and stress from me constantly touching them during the ties re-adjustments. Placed the tie to the top branches to make more room and light for the damaged leaves. The soil is still wet, so probably will water tomorrow with nutrients.
.X: Watered with 2L pH 5.8 CalMag 1ml/L BioGrow 2ml/L water. Removed some damaged fan leaves, made room for the new ones.
