poloq 26_10_03 _General Info 17/7 is a rather uncommon cycle, but I adjusted it so that the lamp goes off at 10 pm (after all, the plant is in my bedroom).

poloq 26_10_04 _Plant A good chunk of the cotyledons got eaten by a little bug (which also attacked the first pair of actual leaves) but luckily didn't damage them in a way that they can't grow.

poloq 2026_10_11 _Plant The plant is growing pretty slowly, but has just like 1/4 of its leafes, so that's ok, _Living Soil I added a top dressing of soil and perlite, as well as a compost tea made from worm castings, rock dust, and plant-based activated charcoal. For three reasons: 1) To give the substrate a little boost to help it regenerate, which can happen in tandem with the new plant’s growth. 2) So that the leaves remaining on the surface can work their way into the soil. 3) To be able to reposition the new seedling in the center (the stump of the Blue Monster Auto is in the way, but should remain in the soil).

poloq 2026_10_18 _Plant That little critter caused more damage to the plant than I had expected, but it's nothing serious—it just means it'll need a little more time. Aside from that, the first shoots are actually starting to appear! Since I usually top my plants (and use four branches), next week could actually be the first week of training. *A quick note: I've never seen a plant whos first pairs of leaves were that big that early on (don't forget that thats maybe 50% of what the leaves would have been without the damage) + this purple (with just 100 W and 60% power). _Setup I started giving he plant more light now that it's stable. (from 60% to 100%) _Environment When the roots start to grow through the small compostable pot, I always like to increase the amount of water I give the plant daily to a point, were the larger pot is satturated. [This allows the roots to reach all the way to the bottom and with that, give the plant a lot of resilience. For 'Living Soil', it’s also very important that the substrate NEVER dries out completely.] This method all together ensures that the small organisms always have moist niches where they can survive without the risk of the substrate becoming anaerobic.
