OPanca33 Germination — 5/5 (100%)
Hour zero: Oct 9, 19:30. Three Strawberry Gorilla seeds soaked in bottled water, separate cups, dark cooler at 25 °C, zero handling. At the same time, the 4th Gorilla and the Strawberry Pie (Seis Pés freebie) went into a seed biostimulant solution for ~3.5 h and then straight into soil cups.
Taproots on all 3 soaked seeds at ~25 h.
Planted at ~45 h directly into final pots (no transplant for autos): biggest taproot → 11 L fabric, medium → 7 L fabric, smallest → small pot. Each one in a cradle of inert soil + perlite.
The 2 direct-sow cups popped first (~2 days 8 h). The 3 pot seeds broke the surface ~37 h after planting.
Week 1 — Seedlings
Light: 1 panel at minimum dimmer, 250–300 PPFD at the canopy (Photone). 24/0 the first days, now moving to 20/4.
Soil: living soil mix: 70% Zion Solo Vivo Gynetics, 20% Carolina Soil, 10% perlite, ~100 g biochar per 10 L, mycorrhiza at the roots. No feeding, water only, pH 6.2–6.5.
Climate: 22–30 °C. RH was swinging 56–84% with a timer-driven humidifier, so smart-plug automation is coming.
Hiccups: one cup seedling stretched in the dark before the light, and later its cup fell over (re-potted and supported). Two seed helmets removed by hand. All 5 healthy now.
Moving everything to the final cabinet next week.

OPanca33 Week 2 → 3 | Seedling to early veg
Quick update to keep the diary moving. On 20/10 the plants moved from the temporary wardrobe into their final cabinet, now with proper exhaust and humidity control. Photos are basic for now; I’ll improve them later on.
Light: 280–290 PPFD at each canopy top.
The three pots
11 L: Compact, with short internodes and smaller leaves than the 8 L, but it puts out nodes at the same pace. LST on 24/10, topped above the 3rd node on 25/10.
8 L: The most vigorous and the tallest, with a clear tendency to stretch. LST on 23/10; within an hour the leaves had turned back up toward the light. Topped above the 3rd node on 25/10. Side shoots were already starting before the cut.
7 L (late transplant): Now the smallest of the three; it fell behind. It started in a 200 ml cup and slowed down noticeably around day 10. When it came out, the roots had hit the cup wall and turned down along the sides. It went into a 7 L fabric pot on 23/10 with mycorrhizae on the root ball. The leaves drooped on day 1 and were back up on day 2. No topping.
Feeding: A pre-flower dry amendment (Bloompower) at 20 g per liter of pot: 200 g, 160 g and 140 g. In the 11 L and 8 L it went on top and was watered in well to start breaking down. In the 7 L it was mixed into the moist soil before the transplant. No liquid nutrients. Water pH 6.2–6.3.
Lessons so far
5 of 5 seeds germinated, more than I can fit, so two seedlings were culled.
For autos, the 200 ml cup was too small to hold for 12 days. The direct-sow plants are clearly ahead.
Next: Light LST on the 7 L tonight and a full watering tomorrow. I hope topping those plants was a good choice.

OPanca33 Just a quick update, since this is my first grow, i think they are going strong, its almost 4th week, any tips on defoliation?
I think they reacted fine to the topping
