Danylo (I'm growing P&C and ICCF2 side by side, so both diaries will share (copy&paste) some non-strain-specific-information) Everyone has a different interpretation of what the "Germination Week" means. I've seen some seeds that take more than a week to even break soil surface so for me it is: "The seven days following the seedling break surface." The lovely people working at Dutch Passion sent me these seeds in context of the "Dutch Passion Growing Competition 2026" and I gotta say: Quality-wise these seeds are among the best I've ever held in my hand. They all "feel" heavier than usual... And I just gotta say: I'm a sucker for strain-specific patterns/colors on the husk! These ICCF2 have the pattern: "no pattern" ๐Ÿ’ฉ ..combined with a specific shade of ochre/brown. So lets move on from first impression to some actual real life results! : I let them soak in 0.6-0.7% H2O2 PH7 solution for a little less than 24h. Unusually, they all had their tongue already out when I was putting them in low nutrient soil for actual rooting. And then 2-ish days later they all burst through the soil surface looking for light. All of them. Time between the fastest and the slowest was like 8 hours. Like little bio-robots! ๐Ÿ˜ณ Since then they have almost outgrown their small 0.5L pots during this week. Interesting facts about them: - While you could easily differentiate them by seed-appearance, the seedlings themselves look almost identical to the Peaches&Cream. - Quite the elongated leafs for this amount of Indica. - Fast growing.. ugh I hate repotting 8( - No freaky growth on any of them. Usually there would be _at least_ one that needs to grow out of some funky broccoli shit.

Danylo Ok so... LOTS of stuff happened this week. These lovely ICCF2s had rooted through their little 0.5L pots - and, you know... I TRY to transplant before they are forced to root in circles... but that shit ain't really THAT easy (and also I'm lazy) so I often don't hit the right day. I DID THIS TIME THOUGH BITCH!!๐Ÿ˜Ž Fresh 3.5L Pots have been prepped with Floragard Professional Grow Mix as well as about 2g/L of an AWESOME powdered Tomato Fertilizer made by Sonnenhof. That shit has saved so many plants and I don't even understand why. You know... you try to do your best with your method BUT SOMETIMES you just have one plant that starts turning yellow and you don't understand whats going wrong?? I gotta repeat that I don't really understand the mechanism here... I'm guessing it is ph related but that stuff has saved so many plants for my brother that i'm now using it myself as an additive. The three plants are doing well but one of them started looking a little weird with strong stems but narrow leafs. Sometimes they grow out of this but it seems to propagate upwards ๐Ÿคท

Danylo Ok so we are at the end of Week 2 Veg! Plants are 21 days old: (7d Germ +2*7d Veg) The week started with the little veg tent (50cmx50cm) getting too crowded. So after some shuffling around they were relocated to the 80x80cm flower tent. On the same day it was high time for the first defoliation. I want good development on the side branches so I basically have two rules: ------------------------------------- Rule1: All fan-leafs growing directly on the stem get removed. (Old 3-leaf ones way down on the plant can stay. They shade nothing.) Rule2: All fan leafs on side branches growing directly towards the stem get removed. ( Side note: I _really_ push my plants regarding light intensity. They probably get about 50% more than what is commonly recommended as a Max... they tend to grow very squat and bushy with lots of leafs shading each other... so I HAVE to treat them like this. This may not be the best ruleset for your personal growing style! ) ------------------------------------- For ICCF2 Plant 2 I actually did not remove anything. That Girl/Guy is all stems ATM so nothing shades anything. BUT! it now almost seems like she/he is growing out of this "phase". For the other two: ..This first defoliation took about 40% of their leafs and I always feel kinda guilty. But I fed all of them well afterwards! ๐Ÿ˜‡ As usual they recovered fine with increased branch growth! Before and after pix this week are barely 2.5days apart.

@BudsPerMinute, Yeah I helplessly fell in love with my Slush Mint Cake, so one picture of the ICCF2 was enough to convince me! Wish you some great phenos too bro! ๐Ÿ˜Š
