Strain Review : Grape Gas

STRAIN REVIEW : GRAPE GASOLINE Compound Genetics | Grape Pie × Jet Fuel Gelato Welcome back to another strain review ! This time, we're taking a closer look at another beautiful cultivar from Compound Genetics, grown from clone, straight out of the mother room. A proper expression of modern gas genetics, with an intriguing combination of dark fruit notes and heavy fuel characteristics. - Breeder: Compound Genetics - Genetics: Grape Pie × Jet Fuel Gelato - Medium: Living Soil - Cure: 3 months Appearance : Exceptionally dense, compact buds with a generous coating of trichomes. A beautiful mix of light and dark green hues, giving the flowers a frosty, resinous appearance. Excellent bag appeal. Aroma : An intense and complex terpene profile dominated by dark grapes and ripe berries, followed by a pronounced peppery character and an absolutely massive dose of pungent fuel. The gas is no joke here. This is easily one of the gassiest cultivars in my entire collection, possibly even taking the top spot. Flavour : The flavour translates beautifully from the aroma. Rich grape and berry notes hit first, quickly followed by an aggressive combination of black pepper and pungent fuel. The smoke is incredibly powerful and expansive, delivering a serious punch to the lungs every single time. No tobacco, just pure flower. The aftertaste is particularly enjoyable, leaving behind lingering notes of dark grape and sharp, pungent fuel. Effects : The experience starts with a gentle uplift in mood, bringing a sense of happiness and positivity. It reminds me somewhat of the effect I get from La Bomba, although the uplifting component is less pronounced. As the experience develops, the effects gradually transition into a deeply relaxing mind and body sensation. There's a noticeable release of tension, leaving me feeling grounded, calm and physically at ease. At higher doses, or towards the later stages of the experience, the relaxing effects can become quite sedating. Definitely a cultivar I would consider for evening sessions and winding down before sleep. Final Thoughts : Another beautiful piece of work from Compound Genetics. Grape Gasoline delivers an impressive combination of dark fruit terpenes, heavy fuel and a deeply relaxing experience. The intensity of its aroma and flavour alone makes it stand out, while its well-rounded effects complete the package. A seriously impressive cultivar and, without a doubt, one of my TOP 10 strains. Compound Genetics absolutely nailed this one !
