My first ever grow. Humity control was a mess the first few days. Finally was able to fix the issue with new equipment. We will see what week 2 brings.

She didn't grow much the first 4 days of this week. Last 3 days she put on some new growth and I began to see her spread. This week she also started taking neuts. Lucas method. 2mil cal mag, 2 mil micro and 4mil bloom. Looking forward to week 3 as I am expecting some real growth. We shall see.

She really hit a spurt this week. New growth all over. Switched up her neuts to 2.5 mil cal mag and 5.0 mil gro per gallon. Want to get her as big as possible with the limited veg time I have. For my first grow I'm thinking I'll probably do some LST in week 4. Will update in 7 days.

Started week 4 (day 28) with some LST. I folded all large fan leafs under the smaller leafs to allow light access to inner foliage. The next morning new growth had filled in all holes. So a few days later I did it again only this time using metal yard hooks to properly fold over larger growth and to again allow light to new growth. She has responded amazingly by always filling in the holes quickly. Shes very dense now with new growth throughout. I'm wondering why she never seemed to get tall. All growth is stacked directly on top of one another. Not like most plants I've seen one. Shes getting 4.0 cal mag, 6.0 micro and 9.0 bloom. I've not encountered any neut issues thus far so I keep creeping up the dose until she tells me not to. Her shade of green looks great and shes definitely growing quickly now. Very happy thus far.

Made it to week 5! I'm thinking this is the week she's going to start flowering. Been on the look out for pistols. Did some LST and been feeding 4mil cal mag, 4mil micro, and 8mil bloom. I seen the people who have grown this strand and they all seem to be much taller than mine but far less bushy. Maybe my light distance is to account for this? Whatever the reason shes growing and seems happy. Cant wait for the buds.

It was such an eventful week. I started out dealing with nutrient burn. Apparently the recipe I was running was too hot as her tips started to turn yellow and that quickly spread throughout the plant. I gave her a good flush in ph water and let her sit for 24 hours. Then I reduced her dosage to one ml of Cal mag for milliliters of micro as 6 ml of Bloom. She seems to be recovering well even putting on some new growth. Her training has continued to go well as you can see from the pictures she is quite wide but not very tall. She still has not moved into flower which is surprising to me as I was expecting that to happen this week. I am hopeful that when she does decide to move into flower I should get a pretty good yield as it looks like I will have a ton of Bud sites. Her color is returning to normal so we will see what next week brings surely she should go into flower this week. We shall see.

Well week 7 brought us into flower but not without its headaches. As you can tell by the pictures I am suffering yet another deficiency. I believe it is a magnesium deficiency as I cut the amount of Cal mag she received about 2 weeks ago from 3 mls to just 1 ml. when she started showing signs of Neut burn. That seems to have fixed the nutrition burn however now starting in the new growth and moving down the plant I am seeing yellow edges and green inner leave with the newest leaves now all yellow. To correct I have increased her cal mag to 2mls per gallon and I am praying that helps it as I'm staring at easily 20 bud sites starting to flower and I really want a good yeild out of her. Shes my first ever and I really want to do well with her. Any suggestions or pro tips are welcome. Other than that I did a heavy defoliation to better allow light to all my new Bud sites and I have taken her completely off of the micro. She is now only receiving 2 milliliters of Cal mag and 6 ml of Bloom I'm considering upping the 6 ml of Bloom to 8. If you are reading this and you are an experienced grower feel free to shoot me some advice guys, I really really wanna get her to the finish line in good health. If I do that and get a decent yeild I think I'll feel pretty good about my first grow.

Not much to report this week. She still shows signs of her deficiency but it is not spreading nor getting better. I think the affected leaves will just stay that way. New growth looks healthy and green. She has tons of flowering spots. My tent is way to small so I bought a new one that should arrive in 2 days. I'll be moving all my plants (4)into the larger tent and then I can use some spacers and spread out her branches to allow constant light into her center. Lots of buds down there that cant get good light because I'm so restricted on space that I cant bend her outward. New tent should fix that problem as well as allow me enough room to upgrade my dehumidifier. My current dehumidifier is incapable of getting the tent below 70%RH. I ordered a new one with the new tent.....and a new air filtration system. This $300 original budget just passed $1100.00 spent lol. I figure I'll use the old tent to dry and the new tent to grow. I'm confident I've finally acquired everything I need though. Except a RO filter a PH pen that's worth a shit and a light I'm not ashamed to show off. As a newbie on his first grow I've learned a lot and caught the growing bug. I'm extremely happy doing this and the challenges and science of it all has really kept me thinking, which I like. I just want some dank ass weed. One more thing just occured to me. All these buds and almost no smell. I was expecting it to be heavy smell by this point and it's still very faint. Until next week!

I think she has Ebola. I'm now feeding her nothing but bloom at 4 mil per gallon. She gets 2 gallons per feeding and most of that runs off. Feed is PH at 5.9. I plan to just do this until she finishes or self destructs. She just keeps getting worse. I have no answers.

Not much to report. Still no amber but plenty of cloudy. Top buds are not getting bigger however, her middle and lower buds are swelling and getting very dense. I did have a chance to test some of her. While trimming up the under growth I had about 6 bowls worth of non dense flower. I gave it 3 days to dry and smoked it for science. That shit was way better than what I am currently buying. The high was energetic and heady. Very strong. I did chores and shit. I imagine as the buds start to amber she will develope that sedation effect. I'm beginning to wonder if that's what I want because I ligitimly enjoyed the more cerebral high. I may need to completely rethink what effects I'm looking for in my weed. Or I guess I could simply grow them all and keep a robust selection on hand.

Amber's are very cloudly and i am digging the buzz I've gotten from what I've been able to sample. I will start her flush in a few days and chop her down before November 1st. Very excited.

First grow. I made a ton of mistakes. were I a more experienced grower I could have done this strain justice. You shouldn't take my grow as a reason not to try Sucker Punch. It's great weed tho. Hits hard and couch lock.
