Strain Review : White Truffle

STRAIN REVIEW | WHITE TRUFFLE – BELEAF CANNABIS Welcome back to another strain review ! This time, we're taking a closer look at White Truffle by Beleaf Cannabis, grown from clone, straight out of the mother room. A cultivar known for its distinctive terpene profile, exceptional bag appeal, and rather unconventional aromatic character. Breeder: Beleaf Cannabis Genetics: Gorilla Glue × Peanut Butter Breath Growing Medium: Living Soil Cure: 3 months APPEARANCE : Absolutely ridiculous bag appeal. Extremely dense, rock-hard flowers with an almost complete white-out appearance thanks to an insane coating of trichomes. The level of resin coverage is simply exceptional, giving the buds a frosty, almost crystalline finish. Beautiful structure, immaculate presentation, and serious visual appeal. A solid 10/10. AROMA This is where White Truffle really starts to get interesting. An incredibly complex and distinctive terpene profile, opening with deep earthy, musky notes reminiscent of mushrooms and a damp forest floor. As the aroma develops, layers of funky garlic and savoury notes begin to emerge, followed by a surprisingly pronounced nutty, peanut butter character. All of this is rounded off by subtle gassy undertones, adding another layer of depth to an already fascinating aromatic profile. One of the most complex and unconventional terpene profiles in my collection. Definitely not your typical dessert or candy strain. TASTE : The flavour profile translates remarkably well from the nose. On the inhale, deep earthy and musky mushroom notes take centre stage, quickly followed by a rich, creamy, almost buttery character with unmistakable peanut butter undertones. It's definitely an acquired taste.. you'll either absolutely love it or wonder what on earth you're smoking ! The exhale brings a more savoury and aggressive dimension, with funky garlic, gassy undertones, and a subtle touch of black pepper lingering on the palate. A genuinely distinctive smoking experience, with plenty of complexity and character. EFFECTS : The effects come on with a noticeable elevation in mood, accompanied by a gentle wave of euphoria. It brings a pleasant sense of calm, with a slightly giggly and uplifting headspace. As the experience develops, a warm, soothing body sensation gradually takes over, accompanied by a pleasant tingling throughout the body. Muscle relaxation is particularly noticeable, without immediately becoming overly sedating. Towards the end, the effects lean increasingly towards the heavier side, with a touch of sleepiness and substantial body relaxation, yet without the dreaded couch-lock. A nicely balanced progression from uplifting cerebral effects to a more pronounced physical relaxation. FINAL THOUGHTS : White Truffle is a true piece of cannabis craftsmanship. This is not a cultivar chasing the latest candy, fruit, or dessert terpene trends. Instead, it delivers something far more unconventional, with a deeply savoury, earthy, funky and nutty profile that really stands out from the crowd. Between the exceptional resin production, outstanding bag appeal, and remarkably complex terpene expression, Beleaf has delivered something special once again. A cultivar that may not appeal to everyone, but for those who appreciate unique, savoury and old-school funky terpene profiles, White Truffle is absolutely worth experiencing. Without a doubt, this one earns its place in my personal Top 10. Beautiful work by Beleaf Cannabis, as always !
