A journey has begun. These are two regular Bangi Haze seeds from Ace Seeds The bottom half of the soil was mixed with Hydrofarm Guano Bloom Crazy and the top half has been mixed with the Hydrofarm Guano Grow Crazy. i wont be using any other nutrients just a generous watering when needed . this wont be a grow for yield or quality just a grow for the sake of growing. The layer of white rocks on top of the soil is to hold in the moisture and i chose the white rocks to reflect some light back up to the plant.

The two plants are growing just fine. I have topped both of them. This is my earliest topping so far. I am Still a newbie and testing things out so I'm welcome to any advice... whether I take it or not. 😉 Trying to keep these two girls... (hopefully girls) nice and short.

I did a little updating on the setup. I Moved the fan to the top and screwed it in. Then I added more hooks to lower the trellis. I am using some string to straighten out one of the plants. I know, I know the tray it too small and cracked. I ordered a new one but it turned out to be too small so I already ordered two better saucers, they will be here shortly. I placed down the new saucers. Now they have more room to grow. And I can start training them.

This week is starting off very nice good vegetation and not much growth in height. Although the one on the right is a half inch taller than the left. I started off by doing a tiny bit of pruning. That is when I noticed the soil levels. I took out the rocks and place a bit more soil in, then washed and replaced the rocks. It was quite and annoying task but should be worth it in the end to give the plants more room to stretch out their roots.

It has been a great beginning to the 5 week. They are starting to fill out nicely and staying short. Sometime this week I will try to initiate the flowering stage by altering the color spectrum of the light and changing the day cycle. I am looking for just a little more growth first. Day 32: the plant on the left has had quite the growth spurt to the point were it is now just as tall as the other one and a bit more thinned out. Day 36. Raised the trellis I only want it to keep the top leaves level while I use the string to control the branches. I am wondering if I have a Dick and Jane instead of a Karron and Sharron. If it's a Male what should I do? I cant decide, do I keep it and get some seeds to play with,or just get rid of him and finish this as a solo?

I decided to spend the weekend looking for a good Co2 generator setup. It was quite easy to get it running. All you need is two containers, tubing, yeast, sugar, and warm water. Now I'm just waiting to see how long it will last before I have to refill it. Here is a YouTube link with directions; https://youtu.be/Gxb_G3JAhso The plant on the left started to get too wide so I wrapped a bit of string around the two stems and brought them towards the inside of the plant. Then I tied it off on the hooks loosely so I can still adjust it. Just for good measure I raised the light a few more inches to keep it about a foot distance.

My plants do not match up with other Bangi Haze plants. These were two free promotional seeds i received from a seed bank . They seems to be a hybrid as far as i can tell. My question is did this happen to anyone else and do you know what seeds they could be?

What seed bank and sometimes I know it does happen the genetics can be off and or you may just have a different pheno type then what others have even posted . Did you try contacting the actual company I've found that a lot of these companies are actually very nice and look for feed back and questions from the ones who are growing and trying their products.. they look very healthy and what your doingbis working .. hope they are female I had two of mine last week show male it sucks but what can u do unless you need pollen for seeds.. Hope this helped at all and best of luck with the girls ..

It is the beginning of the flowering stage, although its very tiny the signs are there. I cant tell the genders yet but by the end of week 7 I should have my answer. The taller left plant is definitely a girl but the one on the right is looking more like a dude every day. If so, oh well life goes on I'll just uproot him. That will give my baby girl more room to spread out. Well it was Dick and Jane after all. I decided just to get rid of the male. I dont need seeds at the moment. The big girl could use some room to spread out. So I decided today just to make this a single plant grow.

She is filling out beautifully. Had to do some training to get it level. She gets so unruly sometimes. There is some sort of orange buildup on the straps. I'm guessing it is from my tap water, but if anyone has any other ideas let me know. On day 53 the flowers have really started to bloom. I have also noticed that the leaves in the middle of the plant are turning yellow. I've added a little bit of nitrogen rich nutrients just to combat what i believe is a nitrogen deficiency. It is showing signs with yellow leaves towards the bottom of the plant.

She is doing quite well at the begining of week 9. The nitrogen deficiency seems to be looking better after adding some nitrogen to every other watering. The light was too low and began to turn the leaves up. So I raised it to just over 12 inches.

Its week 10 and I'm getting excited. They flowers are smelling great and they are getting bigger everytime I look at them. I dont want to do much more to the plant except water it and let it continue filling out. Although if necessary I will do what I need to do to keep her alive.

I opened up my door and was smacked in the face with some fresh bud smells. It was so pleasent. I wasnt going go for quantity but it seems she is going to have a good yield she is slowing down on the height growth with on an inch or two growth since last monday, 15 inches give or take. My friend had come over on friday with her snake and a butterfly caccoon. I unfortunatly didnt get to see it hatch but I woke up to a nice suprise. I'm having some potassium and nitrogen deficiencies now and I'm now sure if it's too late to give it some nutrients. I never wanted to do any nutes but I'd rather not see her die before it's her time.

After I gave her some more nitrogen and phosphorus she seems to be doing much better. Hopefully it keeps going this way and doesnt go downhill again later on.

Not many pictures this week. I have been quite busy and took some when I could. The plants are filling out nicely I wish they were more dense but still pleasant. The smell is eminating from the room and going all throughout my house.

They are just about ready to harvest in a week or two. I have been checking the trichomes daily with a microscope. Waiting for that perfect moment to chop her down and hang her upside down for a week.

Now it's all over and I can sit back look at her, cry a tear of joy, and enjoy that my hard work has paid off. Although it is not over just yet. I still need to dry out the bud and get them in jars to cure.I will say one thing about my opinion on tastes and smell. Its just that, an opinion. I chose creamy just because I felt it describes the taste, although I cant say it tastes like a cream-sickle. It definitely has some citrus to the taste though, that I am sure of. The high I feel really brings me up. Took me too long to wake up this morning but this helped out. I'm feeling ready for the day, and all around quite good inside the chest and head. All in all it tastes and feels great. It will be a great WAKE and bake sativa, or a great party toke. I am going to give some away to some close friends and get their opinions on it as well. I do recommend this plant to other people. Try it out for yourselves. It was an easy plant to grow and train. My buds did not come out looking like a cannabis cup winner but they probably could in the right growers hands.
