Not to much to report. All 3 are looking good. 1 mil cal mag and 3 mil gro. Will be upping the dose to 2.5 cal mag 5.0 gro for days 14-21. Hoping to see some growth this week.
Where to start. All 3 have their own issues but all seem to be growing. I have 1 that I attempted to LST to early I'm guessing because she is very misshapen. I removed all the pins after 24 hours as it was obvious she wasn't ready for such action. I have 1 in a 3 gallon plastic pot that looks like it smelled the jokers flower. In my defense this plant had looked scaby and had strange texture and leaf marking since the day it sprouted. Its growing but who knows what the results will be. I've looked at every deficiency chart I can find but can't crack the mystery of what ails her. My 3rd seems fine actually. She had some leaf markings a few days ago but they seem to have cleared up. 3.0 cal mag, 4.0 micro, 8.0 bloom. Will reattempt LST late this week as they are getting rather large.
What a week. The girls put on some growth in week 4. Bushy but not at all tall. Seems to be a theme in my tent. Not sure why, perhaps light distance. they're growing nonetheless so we will see. Did some LST and stuck to same feeding of 4mil calman, 4 mil micro. And 8 mil bloom. See you next week.
This was a very eventful week and a learning experience to say the least. I started the week out with a calcium deficiency in one of my girls. Her leaves were looking rusty And her over all health looked poor. I gave her a good flush and let her set for 24 hours. The next day I reduced her formula to one ml of Cal mag 4 ml of micro and 6 mil of bloom. I am growing 3 of these northern light autos this nutrient deficiency only affected one of the 3. With regard to the other 2 plants 1 of them is in a 3 gallon plastic pot and is very small. This small plant also appears to be moving into flower as I am seeing white pistils pop up. The 3rd plant I have done nothing with except very little bending and defoliation. This plant is my tallest and most healthiest of the 3. So to recap I have one small stunted plant, 1 large healthy plant, and 1 that suffered calcium deficiency. All 3 seem to be looking good now and we shall see what next week brings. This is my 1st grow and it is such a learning experience it has been frustrating yet fun and rewarding I am definitely enjoying the challenge.
This week 2 out of the 3 plants went into flower. My 10" runt in a 3 gallon pot when into flower 1st Followed by a 15" in a 5 gallon pot. None of the 3 plants appear to have any deficiencies this week which I am thankful for. I have changed up the feeding regiment for the 2 that went into flower. They are now at 1 ml of cal mag and 6 ml of bloom. The 3rd plant has not went into flower yet however it looks like it could be any day. It will receive 1 ml of Cal mag 4 ml of micro and 6 ml of bloom. Lastly all 3 girls received a pretty hefty haircut this week. I want to allow as much light as possible to reach the Bud sites.
This week the buds got slightly bigger. All 3 appear healthy and I've noticed no deficiencies. I ordered a new tent and dehumidifier to address the 2 issues I am having. These issues are 70%RH and no room in tent to stretch out the branches for better light penetration. See you next week.
What a week. I moved the girls into the new tent and finally they have a little more room to grow. All 3 look as healthy as they ever have. They have that perfect shade of green and show no signs of deficiencies. My smallest plant in the 3 gallon bucket does have yellowing leaves at the bottom but from what I've read that is a normal occurrence once they get into flower. So I am considering her healthy. The new tent seems to have helped with the humidity issue I was having. In the smaller tent I was unable to reduce the humidity below 70% and the new tent it's holding pretty steady at 45%. I paid 160 bucks for a dehumidifier I haven't even had to turn on yet so I feel rather stupid on that purchase but I'm sure it will come in handy at some point. My biggest plant popped little white pistils when the other 2 did 2 weeks ago, however it has not put on any more bud since then and the pistols are only on the top most main cola. Thus I have continued to give it grow nutrients and in return it has continued to grow larger. I give it a bloom feeding every 3rd feeding but I figure until it starts putting on more than just a few pistols I'm going to treat it as if it were still in veg and hope she gets huge as shit and doesnt finish until late October. Fingers crossed. All 3 of these Northern Lights are healthy and coming along nicely. My 4th plant is the polar opposite. Feel free to visit my other diary and help a brother out on this Sucker Punch I'm growing that's got me all fucked up and lost for answers.
Not much to report. Checked my trichomes with a jeweler's loop and most were still very much clear with very few cloudy on my most furthest advanced plant so it appears I still have some time left. More details in video.
Not much to report this week. All 3 plants are getting thicker buds. 1 plant ( my middle sized) has its foliage clawing down and looking overall unhealthy. I gave her a good flush and only today started her back on neuts at a reduced dosage. All tricombs are still clear and cloudy. No amber.
Plant 1. In smallest pot, she is the furthest along. She was the first to flower and she continues to put on weight. Still no amber. Shes receiving a bloom booster for feeding.
Plant 2. The second plant to flower is looking rough. Shes packed on some weight and has fragrant, sticky buds but her leaves are dying. The entire plant has clawing leaves that also sag. She looks the plant version of depressed. This started 2 weeks ago. Last week I flushed her for 2 days and then reintroduced bloom at 2mil per gallon. Her buds keep growing but the leaves are getting no better. After the flushing and reintroducing bloom I thought maybe I'm over watering so I cut back the amount of water for 4 days No change. Now Im thinking maybe I was wrong and it wasn't over watering maybe I was under watering. so starting today I'm going to be watering twice a day and watch and see what she does. I was under the impression that flowering plants no longer require nitrogen but maybe if this increased watering doesnt do the trick I'll try reintroducing and little grow nutrient back into her diet.
Plant 3. Looks great. Shes big, sexy, and healthy. She was last to flower and appears to be doing great.
Not much to report. My second plant, that has been on the struggle bus for a few weeks now still looks like it has aids. Increasing the watering to twice a day didnt seem to work and I've only just today attempted a little nitrogen. Her buds continue to swell so guess I cant be to bummed out out it. Other two plants are healthy and continue to pack on the weight.
