This was a freebie auto seed I got from GYO along with my Strawberry Cough order. Thought I would get it outdoors and let it do its thing before the end of the summer. She germinated in less than 48 hours, and seems to be growing well already. Will be using the same setup as the other plants: Soil - ProMix Organic + sheep's manure + perlite + vermiculite Nutrients - Muskie 5-1-1 organic for veg, molasses for flower FruitPunch is supposed to be a great strain, looking forward to this one!

Any thoughts on these trichomes? Plant is only about 6 weeks through flowering, but the trichomes looks super milky and somewhat amber, and its about 80% red hairs. Strain is supposed to be an 8-9 week flowering period. I prefer higher proportion milky, but this seems early....

There are quite a bit of milky trichs, but also I do see a fair amount of clear as well as a few ambers. I think you still have 2 weeks minimum if not longer. Those buds look like they could still bulk up some more. For reference, almost every time I've grown ive had to let them go 1-2 weeks beyond the breeders estimate to achieve peak potency. So just keep that in mind and keep an eye on things. I personally shoot for 10%-20% amber and less than 5% clear. If you can take some pics even close and more focused on the buds themselves it would likely be easier to tell. I use a legit USB handheld microscope to check my buds so I can get in nice and close. Also, keep in mind that some of those that are only slightly milky may actually be clear but your lighting could be making them seem milky. I usually only count milky as the ones that are really cloudy and white.

Might have been the fox farms soil, but mine needed a big CalMag boost at about 5-6 weeks. It really hurt bad cuz I misdiagnosed as P deficiency and didn't resolve til most the foliage was dead. She has held on though and the buds are fattening up. I already know they are super compact.
