was slow to start . Reasonably easy to grow . I used supersoil and coco and it seemed to work not to bad . The buds aren’t as dense as I would have liked But there is lots of trichomes . Smells good , lots of trichromes .

Depends. If you are having humidity/airflow issues or light is being blocked from reaching lower flowering sites, then yes defol a little more. If not then just leave it be. Based on your photos I believe you are fine where you are. In flowering, you don't want to defol a lot because it can stress the plant. I usually will defol a fair bit during the stretch that happens the first few weeks of flower and then just maintenance defol of 5 leaves or so a day each plant as needed to keep light penetrating deep into the plant.

Hi @Grandpappyshlong! Defoliation is awesome when done correctly, but it could be a nightmare if done too much or at the wrong time. Before removing a leaf, I always ask myself: is this leaf really blocking the light? For how many nodes / bud sites? How close are the next leaves? How healthy is this leaf? You should make your own experiments and see how it goes. Keep us up-to-date, happy growing! 👊
