Northern Lights Automatic balcony/window grow in Canna Coco +30% perlite grown in a 8 liter fabric pot. Greenhouse Feeding BioGrow organic powder mixed in the substrate before planting, only 1 gram per liter of substrate. Otherwise just tap water for the week.
Germination: paper towel method.
Planted in substrate once the shoot gets long enough (usually within 24 hours)
Day #1 is when it is planted in substrate.
Day#2: popped out, but lousy and dark weather, so I screwed in a 40 watt light bulb and put it upside down to give it some light to stretch out a little bit
-Introduced nutes this week.
-Finally starting to get some decent amount of sun exposure after a lot of cloudy and cold weather. Not quite as big as I was expecting, but will probably soak up this sun all week and grow out. Should be very hot and sunny all week, thankfully.
-I move it to the window seal in the afternoon because the balcony faces due east and goes into shade by early afternoon.
-BioGrow was already in the substrate at the time of planting, but is a slow release powder.
-Started having some really hot days, some peaked in the high 30s.
-Starting to see some inner yellowing on the leaves, so might pump up a little more calmag+. Been very consistent at 5.8ph.
