Doing things a little differently and starting week 1 - Day 1 the day I dropped the seed in the jiffy soaked with Vitathrive solution from Green Planet.
The plan for this first annual Silke Solo Cup Challenge is to grow this CBD Strain, which is my first time growing this strain, in a exactly 473ml cup as per Silky’s rules.
I’ll be growing in a soilless medium (ProMix HP) to have high porosity and regular feeding. For the first time I’m trying Botinicare and Advance Nutrients Nirvana.
She is growing strong now that she has been transferred to a 3 gallon pot. I had topped her but looking at the way she grows, next time around I’ll simply LST as the result did not end up being what I’d expect. Very sturdy and healthy still no signs of pistils so I’m guessing one more week of Veg.
She is growing like a beast!!! Never seen such big fan leaves on an auto before. She had stretched beyond what I could of imagined. I’ll have to figure out how I intend to support the massive colas I’m anticipating for this Indica heavy hybrid, to be seen but the stems are no where near as sturdy as lets say the Gorilla Glue, possible she may stop stretching and bulking up on those stems. It's my first time growing any of these strains so as always, it's all part of the learning curve.

She has been battling some deficiencies that's one of the downfalls of running multiple strains at once. Even though I've made sure to add Cal-Mag every feed she doesn't seem to enjoy the same PH range as the Fast Buds strain or maybe she is just very finnicky. Other than the Mag def I'm impressed how well she responded to the topping. I can count over 8 heads.
Lowered the temps in the final week, amazing colours came out and nice and dense buds. Wet weight came in at 325gr. Be interesting to see if she keeps her colours as she dries out. She was pushed an extra week could of been chopped at week 11.
@IDOSWED, it smells amazing and you can notice the limonene terpenes, Although they say it only has 8% THC and up to 15% CBD, I get noticeably stoned and this stuff get me so relaxed. I'll be growing it again and will be processing what I currently have in Hash for a more concentrated dose of CBD.
Looking good so far! I’ve been defoliating similar sized fan leaves on my autos. When I started getting the environment and watering/feeding of cannabis locked down, I realised how crazy fast autos can be.
@WillyWonka, absolutely and this is not considered a heavy yielding strain by any means, they say 40gr average for this one whereas I wouldn't be surprised to have over 100gr with the Gorilla or GC.
