12 out of 12 seeds popped, can't complain about germination rates at all. 1st time growing in rockwool and using elite91. Going to keep them in starter plugs till they show roots and from there to 6inch RW blocks. Not sure what to expect but I expect big plants, since they compare to 5gallon pots. So the tent will be packed with these GGA.
Today is day 7 since I put them in the RW cubes, 10/12 already have roots poking through. Going for 1 more week of growth in Aok starter plugs, and from there on it is 6inch cubes till harvest. Pretty curious how they'll do, growth rate is pretty good so far, just bumped the nitrogen up so should only go faster now.
So the ph pen started acting up, only noticed when I couldn't seem to get my ph to 5.5 to condition my blocks. Added heaps of ph down, till I gave up and tried to calibrate the pen, kept reading ph 7 solution as 10, so my ph was waaaay lower. Plants survived after I gave them nutrient solution. Its all looking better now. Far from ideal, and the rw fibres might be damaged but going to finnish this run even if its only w a few plants. Going to veg some other strains in the meantime
Considering the issues I had I couldn't train properly so just doing the cycle and see what it does. Potency and denseness of the auto's aren't great anyways, next grow will include some cookies kush, underdawg og and GSC. All clones and photoperiods, should bump quality up
Looks like they are recovering quite nicely buddy. By next week they should be nice and green again with some nicely added growth on the top. Best wishes and happy growing :D
@DabCrab, you don't want to know what they looked like. Horrible. Should have my ph pen in the mail on monday and some other stuff on friday that will keep my temps more steady, and a RO unit.
