Day 23: * ALPHA - Defoliated fan leaves from nodes 4-6. Side branches appear strong and robust. Placed plant in a support cage to mitigate damage. The lower leaves are already at the edge of the pot. The cage will provide support for branches as the grow, and they can also be used for LST. * BRAVO - Started LST. Bent at third node and staked multiple sections to even out canopy. Placed in cage to provide support and framework for continuing LST. Intent is to manage canopy height with cage and stakes. * CHARLIE - Control plant. Water, nutrients, light...and natural grow (at least as natural as an LED can be in an indoor grow). Day 27: Growth continues. Lessons learned at this point: - Hold off on defoliation for another week or so to allow more side branch development; LST and defoliation are a pain in the ass.; patience is tough...It's hard to leave the control alone when I want to manipulate her with defoliation. Sigh.
