Got a bag of pink kush it was really good but full of beautiful beans so.... i put em in the promix obviously. 14 beans popped 14 girl's so im guessing fem seeds? second week in flower all seems good to first timer eyes.
Let me know what im doin wrong if anything?
Ok another week down with the bagseed
They only stretch an inch last week so I'm pretty sure height won't be an issue. Other thing was I did a massive Leaf strip probably 50% of the leaves, they looked like sticks lol they grew leaves back quickly not sure if that would have affected the stretch. Bud are starting to get salty...🤗
They've been on cruise control not much to report really I've kept them on a lower PPM at300 just to help wash out some of the salts I'll probably bump them up this week.
They seem happy they don't seem needy everything is smooth and aren't they Frosty as fuck wow who knew bagseed could be so good
Here we go another week down and some changes noticed all the pistils have pretty much turn brown but the trichomes are mostly clear and some cloudy so that seems to say that they're not ready especially for me as with this grow I'm looking for more Amber trichomes to help with sleep if anyone has any advice if they've noticed anything like this and their grows if not I'm just going to keep her going until I see some Amber trichomes then I'll start flush then. I bumped the nutrients back up to 1000ppm on this last feed to see if it would encourage new growth
Runoff ppm's and pH are in line
On the second week of flush now sorry I've missed a week here and a lot on grow Diaries elsewhere just been a little rough lately.
The lanky phenotype faded really quickly so I chopped it yesterday it's hanging and drying now the rest of the plants are just getting plain RO water with a little bit of pH Down
alrighty so I have being chopping down the plants pretty much one a day this week it's definitely been a lot of work I'm glad I can do it one plant at a time hahaha one girl left growing chopper down either today or tomorrow let them all get dried up nice and put into some big curing bags I got and I will weigh it up after that and give you guys a smoke report there's quite a few different phenotypes so it'll be a mixed bag lots of different smells already some have a wild blueberry some smell like bad breath kind of rotten meat almost and a few have that standard Kush smell so far thanks as always for checking out my Diaries I appreciate all the support I get.
I totally forgot to mention the plants that don't look like they're cut all the way are going to be a reveg project I want to try and save more of these genetics so I can try to run them again.
Too much variation in this strain hard to know what it really even is almost every plant was a different phenotype but there was one keeper as long as the reveg goes well.
I used this grow to learn as much as I could have bought growing and I think I learned quite a bit I even found a keeper pheno out of the bunch as long as I can reveg it successfully which it has already started the reveg just need to cut clones
I know I'm forgetting to say some stuff hahaha please ask any questions you want and anything that looks funny call me out on it so I know thanks guys

@DabCrab, Nice man thanks, i think i got staring at them a little too long and started over-thinking things. It could be the light thing as i just did a heavy fan leaf defoliation 2 days ago
And thats when i started seeing it. they are now getting twice the light penetration. So for now I'll chill out and let her talk to me lol
@DabCrab, could i ask you to zoom in on pic 11 of this grow? Lower leaves are getting a curl. I checked run off ph it 6.2 so ive been plucking a few and useing a 30x loupe and my phone's 8x to look for broad or russet mites, i believe im getting enough zoom i see no movement or visible bugs. Any suggestions? Possibly bag seed genetics?
@Bigpun, It very well could be that they aren't getting enough light though with 1000W HID I doubt that to be the problem. Them plant most likely doesn't see a use for them and is slowly pruning them off itself. I'd personally lollipop those leaves off. The plant will always tell you what she wants and I believe thats what she's saying to do. Because it's only the lower leaves showing that issue and not the upper leaves I believe that is what the problem is. Give her a few days and if she continues to tell you what I think she is telling you then prune them off :D

The smells that these plants are producing is amazing one of the plants that has really dark buds has a wild blueberry smell some of the other ones smell like bad breath lol and some just have that kushy stench
Beautiful cropping and topping you have here. Nice lollipop defoliation as well. She's looking beautiful like if a pro had done it themselves. Nothing more fun than popping a random bad seed. Some of my favorite grows over the years have been from a random bag seed.
You've done great work here and you should be proud of it :D

I was told it was pink kush so i might be in for a 12 week flower! If thats true and im judging my weeks right those buds might get big. It's been quite the adventure all the way through.
@BiggestLittleGrower, I wish hahaha just got a bag of really good weed and one nug had all these seeds in it all the other nugs were seed free. I thought it was strange so I kept the seeds they're probably like 2 years old. When I decided to grow I remembered I had those seeds in the drawer. A little while later here we are.
And to think I almost threw these out.
