Ice Ice Baby

Started to germinate the Seeds on a Saturday, checked after 24 hours on Sunday for the first time, 7 out of 10 popped at this time, but only had little roots, so I left them between the wet papertowels in a Ziplock Bag. Prepared the little 0,3L pots with Starter Soil and gave them a little water with Root Juice to be prepared for Monday. Monday noon all 10 seeds popped and were moved into their new soil bed. From tuesday on till friday we had a massive heatwave over here with outside temperatures from 39 degrees Celsius till 45 degrees Celsius, inside the tent with the little ones we had between 29 and 33, not the best start, but they all look healthy and growing strong. Much better temperatures than last week, they still need some time to recover, so I'll add at least 2 more veg weeks, guess it wasnt the smartest idea to start a grow with 40 degrees Celsius day temperature, but well 😉 1 Lady looked really stressed and tiny, but the last 2 days she started to recover fine. I still have 2 Ladys in the small tent that are doing better now, maybe I'll change the tiny one with one of them next week, just depends on how they will grow in the big tent. 2 Days ago all the Ladys moved into their new home in an Octogrow System in 11L Pots with BioBizz AllMix soil under a 315W CMH Aurora Kit by Lumatek running at 50% (157,5W) right now. They got some Aloe Vera and Bio Heaven to help them recover a bit 🙂 If you now say': Dude, I'm sure I have read this text before somewhere ... This Post will be in 2 parts this time 😉 Part 1 is the normal Diary entry. Part 2 is about the Setup. 😌 So lets start with the grow Part 😉 A perfect week, they grew great and healthy. Fit their first complete feeding this week .... And man ... They were drinking like a sailor who arrives at a harbor after 6 month in high seas 😂 And as you can see in the pictures, they really like their special Cocktail 💚🌱💚 When everything stays fine as it is right now I'll top them next week after Node 5 😌 Now to Part 2, the Setup: This 8 Ladys are part of a 3 Strain grow (you can find the other diaries Here on Growdiaries too 😉) and located in a 2,40m x 1,20m x 2,00m tent. They have their own "Octogrow" System (Nutriculture) with 11L Pots and they have their little feed in BioBizz AllMix Soil. Above the Heads they have their own 315W CMH Aurora Kit by Lumatek which is running at 50% (157,5W) right now only. 2 Clip fans and 1 large standing fan are inside to avoid "wet spots". Climate is controlled by a Climate Controller, it turns on a 360m3 and a 400m3 exhaust fans if temperature inside reaches 28 degrees Celsius and cools the tent down to 26. Also a RH Controller is turning on/Off a humidifier (If RH under 40%) or a dehumidifier (If RH is above 70%). A Co2 bag and some Yellow Stickers (to monitor) are inside too. Oh well, not my (our) week 🙄 During the week the Ladys start to look a overwatered and I had no idea how this could happen ... Well, first I tried to rise temperature slightly and had the fans run more often to dry them out a bit quicker, did not work. Than I took them out of the System ... All together worked, at least it looked so ... for 1 day ... Yesterday I found the real reason. The Humidity Controller was broken ... During the night they had around 90% humidity and during the day only 25-30%, way to high and way to low. Replaced the Controller today, hope next week will start smoother 🙂 Beside of this they made huuugggeeee progress, some nearly tribbeld in size and are around 5-6 Nodes now, will top them all next week when they recovered a bit 🙂 Also added some Alfaboost to help them a bit. What a week 😂 Topped the first 5 out of 8 Ladys and Low Stress Trained them. The other 3 will follow very soon, only a bit more height and then they'll get the cut. Gave them all 4 ml/L Alfaboost to help after the topping, and it looks like it worked fine 🙂 The CMH is running at 70% right now and I think i'll stay with it till 2 weeks after I switched to 12/12, but thats a few weeks in the future 😉 Will give them at least 2 more weeks in Veg. A great week 💚💪🏻👍🏻🌱 All are topped now and all are doing great, we had some small problems with White Flies, but some Slip Wasps (Hope this is the correct english word 🤔) made a great Job and solved the problem within 3 days 💪🏻 This was the last Veggi Week and we will start with 12/12 today. The Light (315W CMH Aurora Kit by Lumatek) was running at 70% the whole week and was turned to 100% today. Thought about a 2nd topping for some of them, but with this rapid grow they made in a few days I thought it would be a better idea to switch before I start too much Training 🤔😂 I will take away some leafs and lower branches during the next week to slow down the growth rate a bit during the next weeks before they will start to flower 🙂 Thanks a lot for reading, see you again next week 💚👍🏻

Hi there again 😉 Thanks for stopping by 💚 Was a busy week for me at Work, but the Ladys did fine, made several defolitations this week and they stretched a lot the first 4 days after the 12/12 switch. What amazes me a bit is that I normally would have to make this a half/half week of Vegetation the first 4 days and Flowering the Last 3 days of this week. Yepp, right, only 4 days after the switch they start to flower, first pre-flower was seen after 2 days. 😲💪🏻🌱 After writing with BioBizz on Instagram (thanks a ton again for the fast answere 💚) I start giving Top Max and Bloom from Day 1 of 12/12. Normaly I started feeding the Bloom Nutes as soon as I saw the first signs of flower. They also got the double Amount of GrowsArtig's Alfaboost to reduce the stress signs after switching to 12/12 and it seems to work fine as of today 😉 Next week the Buds will start to form.I guess and hope ... For me the most interessting part of a grow is week 2-4 in 12/12 ...
