My husband thought this was mold but it looks like webbing to me. I sprayed with Neem oil last night. Today the webbing is gone. I'm wondering if I should cut it out or see if it recovers. I'm at 38 days of flowering - a little more than halfway.

Take the infected areas off and begin spraying with diluted neem oil. Put up sticky pads to catch the flying ones. Make sure there's plenty of airflow. Ladybugs work a treat too😉

Here's an update a few days after spraying with Neem oil. I've decided to let it ride and see what happens.

With 22 more days to go I decided to harvest the buds most effected by the mites. 267g wet weight. Put 4 oz of that in the freezer for canna budder. Now at 19 days to harvest our best looking CP has a brown section. No webbing so I don't think it's mites.

Hey VT I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you have some bud rot. You definitely need to cut that bud off asap. Bud rot loves cool temperatures and high humidity. You want to keep your temp around 80f and your humidity around 40% to stop this from happening in the future. Also oscillating fans keeping the air moving and an extractor fan are key to keeping bud rot away. I am not sure if you can do any of these things on your greenhouse, but hope this gets you headed in the right direction.

My husband bought this auto by accident but we are thrilled with it despite the bud rot. 100% germination. Grew fast but was quickly overshadowed in the hoop house by it non-auto sisters. Will have to check back in on the dry weight.

Had to harvest a little early due to bud rot. My husband smoked some after a quick initial dry and is thrilled. I'm assuming it will only get better from here.

Just so you know there’s a study going around about been oil causing Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome I don’t use it.

@VToutdoor, I see that you harvested her. Yes mbud rot does look like fluffy webbing inside. Outdoor can be a pain sometimes. Looks like you got some decent buds though. Make sure you check it often during the cure for mold growing. I hate when this happens but hope I helped. Enjoy the harvest!

@Wicked_Stix, I just found out my husband broke the stem and that's probably how the spores got their foot hold. I think he was right about the mold first time around because I never saw any spider mites and the mold did look like webbing.

@VToutdoor, it must be high humidity with that cold night temp. The spores can go airborne so it can spread to the rest of the plant.

Be careful of neem during flower, can have adverse effects (vomiting) to people with allergies

I can't clean everything because I still have a shit ton of plants in there. The non-autos haven't even started to flower. Plus I've got tomatoes, peppers, eggplants in my hoop house. I'm keeping my eyes peeled. We shall see.
the end.
