The foliage up top was so heavy and dense there was no way to just tuck these monster 11 finger leafs anywhere so I cut every fan leaf off that was older than 2 weeks seeing as there where a ton of new ones popping out this should be totally fine and I think that's what "Three a light" recommend as "schwazzing ". This plant smells more than any other plant I have and it doesn't even have buds on it. I'm picking up 1 more carbon filter fro nhte hydro store as soon as they are back in stock. Flushed with florakleen once thins week
Whorled Phyllotaxy is the arrangement of leaves on a plant stem, three in this case. I never noted it until the buds started to form in threes on the stem instead of twos on just opposite sides. Plant also has 11 finger leafs that are ginormous I hack them off every other day. bud sides are forming well faster than I expected HPS in veg was a good option to keep the plant short and bushy.
I have no idea what to expect from this HLG 100 v2 3000K light so far it seems to be enough with the other 5200k DIY LED that is 93 watts actual.
HLG 100 V2 3000K Quantum Board
Equivalent to 220W T5 or 300W CFL output or 200W metal halide
High Efficiency Quantum Board V2 with Samsung LM301B LED's
Actual Power consumption 95 Watts. Veg Footprint 3'X3', Flowering Footprint 2'X2'
3000K White Light Full Spectrum for Flowering and full cycle
It's taking a lot longer than I thought so I had to get a new setup for it, and move stuff around. Still Samsung lm301b QB but 1/3 more light and 2x more tent. Kingbright 320w full setup for $240 shipped.
The kingbright 320watt was great $250 shipped in 5 days, cool temps and the flowers did really did well. 2X4 tent 2 plants in different phases so 151watts per plants. These QB where like 50% less that my HLG in the 2x2 and work about 90% as good but the last 10% the HLG can give you is not always needed if you oversize the light to start with. I'm going to reveg and clone the stump.
The truth is I had a lots of clones of this plant before I flipped to flower but accidentally sold all of them and had thought I had saved one for myself. The other clones I sold are now in a dispensaries official breading program so they must have liked the phenotype.
