Little baby popped her helmet about 40 hours ago. Root already poking through the seed starter. Not expecting much from this seed, it’s being grown in the background of my veg tent. She’ll soak up excess wattage and hopefully produce a little bag of bonus buds one day lol.
This NL auto seed is progressing fairly well, there are some rust spots on it’s first set. Nothing to concern with as the rust is a result of the baby tap root not getting enough dissolved o2 on it’s way to the tote & when roots stay wet too long without being able to breathe properly, well, grime accumulates & she eats it and grime isn’t the ideal diet for nice luscious green leaves lol however, the tap root managed to find its way to its happy place and the resulting growth should,,, by all accounts,,,, produce happy green growth. You can see light colouration on the second set, and that’s the plant consuming trace amounts of grime. 3rd set is where I should see some pristine leaves. Avoiding this happening is letting the roots develop more in a seed starter by hand feeding plain water while keeping it above the clay and when there’s a heap of shoots I’d be starting the baby down lower in the net cup too ensure it gets to the reservoir quickly as possible. A vigorous seed helps as well, slow starters aren’t ideal in these conditions. Hope that helps if ya weren’t already handy with DWC.
Week 6 on this auto flower by 00seeds. Just starting to enter the flowering stage. Plant crept up on me, slow going for a while but now showing signs of being a decent producer. There’s a baby in with her.
Day 42 auto flower. I was pleasantly surprised at how well she vegged out. Starting to flower now. Looking like a decent yield is on the cards. The new born was slow to show roots but has done so now. She might need her own diary aswell😀
