I tried FIM last week. But not sure if I did it right cuz other than injured leaves at the top I notice no difference. She's gained 5 inches since going into her new 5g felt pot. Continues to live in perlite+coco at about 30/70 ratio. Have no idea when to flip to flower. She's short but she's 80% indicia and she had a rough start for the first few weeks without official nutrient additives.

I'm growing a hybrid that's 80% indicia. Currently at about 7weeks since germination. She's at about 17 inches (43cm) but has had a rough start so is probably stunted. When do I flip to flowering lighting?

You can grow on a 12/12 "flowering" lighting cycle from seed! Look up "12/12 from seed". A cannabis plant cannot enter flowering until it has matured, which usually takes 3 or 4 weeks after it sprouts. After that, you can flower whenever you want! In fact, auto-flowering strains usually begin flowering automatically around 4 weeks regardless of the light cycle. Just remember that a cannabis plant may stretch out to 2x its current height, so make sure you do it with a plan. Don't end up with a 10 foot tall flowering plant in a house with 8 foot tall ceilings LOL It's also extremely important that during those 12 hours of darkness, the plant remain in darkness. Any interruptions can bring it out of flowering.

You can flip her when ever you want. It really depends on your space and what yields you want to achieve. Be aware that in flower it is possible the plant doubles or almost triples in size. So it is all up to you. Good luck. Hopefully i could help. Cheers

Hi, as i mentioned , its your descision when to switch to flower. I am growing actually Deam Berry and i switched to 12/12 after14 days, because she stretches so much. then i had bruce Banner #3 , there i waited for 10 weeks because i wanted to train her into multiple colas... so thats the nice thing in growing photoperiods, you are no set to one point... you can do it on every point of grow. happy gardening Btw you can fill up the soil in her pot, she will love it
