Growing some seeds I won from Diary of the Month here on Grow Diaries!!! I'm so grateful and excited for another learning experience doing what I love! Thank you, FastBuds! 🙏 Seed was germinated directly in Rapid Rooter placed in a seedling tray. I put her in darkness for 48 hours and then in a sunny window. On the third day, the seedling's little head poked up with a pretty rad helmet. 🤣 I kept the seedling tray in a sunny window and brought her outside for lunch on my sunny deck with me for the rest of the week. Given the heatwave we were having here, I got her settled into her net basket sooner rather than later so that she could have a more stable environment. This plant will is being grown indoors in an 2x4x8 Gorilla Grow Tent using an 8 gallon Current Culture Solo Bucket under California Lightworks 550 Solar System LED. For grow media I am using clay pellets and I use the entire Cultured Solutions line of nutrients.

Gave my little purple people eater some food. I give UC Roots and Coco Cal at full strength and Veg A&B at 1/2 strength. Her stem is super thick and strong and she's really growing fiercely! I'm having a hell of a time maintaining favorable reservoir temperatures and have to change out frozen water bottles 2x daily. I need to get me some reflective sheets to lay across my grow media but for some reason I haven't gotten around to it yet. I have the hydro bucket wrapped in foam insulation, but until the grow media is covered, it's going to be an uphill battle.

Day 21 - When deciding whether or not to top an autoflower, I always wait until the 3 week mark of growth to assess the plant and determine if it is a good candidate to do so. In day 22, she was strong and fierce, so I went ahead and topped her at the 5th node. In day 24 she had made a nice stretch, so I took to the zip ties and twine to open up my canopy. I cannot stress enough how flawless this plant has been throughout this grow so far. Her structure is super strong, her branches are nice and healthy, and she's doing EVERYTHING I ask of her. She's a total dream!

This is the quickest I have ever had a plant charge into flower! What a spectacular ladyt! This plant has taken it easy on me since day 1. I repositioned some of my twine tie-downs, but after topping, this canopy just naturally evened itself out.

I continue to find myself astounded by the vigor of this plant! Sailing into flower with huge white pistils. This strain is a bit more hungry than your average autoflower, but she's happily taking the extra food and turning it into miraculous growth!

This girl is a power house! I had to reduce my light cycle to 12/12 because of environmental issues. To combat humidity in my photo period tent, i have to leave its doors open - meaning now my autos need to share the 12 hours of darkness because I can't close THEIR tent either. Otherwise the grow has been immaculate! 👌

This plant smells SO DELICIOUS! If I'm going to be honest, I'm kind of disappointed that I didn't get the deep purple phenotype I was hoping for, but her buds are absolutely pristine, nonetheless, and absolutely covered in trichomes! Nothing wild to report. This plant is just naturally doing everything you hope a plant does. Her buds are starting to get a bit heavy, I already have one bud leaning against the wall. This plant is blowing my mind at how fast this whole process is unfolding!

I guess I can't put it off any longer.... This plant officially needs some yoyos. She can no longer hold herself up, and I have too many colas leaning against the wall. These buds are exquisite! The contrast of the trichomes against the purple bud is stunning! I want to make it my mission to grow all the purple FastBuds strains! They're just breathtaking! The smell in this tent is phenomenal. If only I could upload the smell! 🍇🍇🍇

Blackberry Auto is gracefully crossing the finish line. I finally hauled my lazy rump to the store and got this lady some yo-yos so she's not flopping all over the tent. It almost seems that as soon as I relieved her of that stress, she began finishing up real fast. Her trichomes are mostly milky, maybe 15% amber. I don't want to let her go too much further so this is going to be her home stretch. Impossible to not smile when you smell this plant! 😍😋🌱😁

Changed out my reservoir and gave this beautiful broad a 3 day flush with some nice chilly water and about 40 hours of darkness before I gave her the chop. I harvested her right at the base and hung her up, whole plant, inside another grow tent to dry. Temperatures in the tent were 72° F and 62% RH. I positioned a fan at the base of the tent to provide circulation within the tent, without directly blowing on the plant. She hung for 6 days, and then I went through and trimmed the buds off the plant, separating quality bud from popcorn buds. The undercarriage buds had tons of this sap like stuff oozing out of it. I've never had this before so I'm not sure what it was but it was super sweet and sticky. **I'm trying to upload more pics and videos but I'm having issues and keep getting an error. 🤷‍♀️ This plant was a pleasure, from start to finish - and she's officially the fastest autoflower I've ever grown seed to harvest. The only problem I really had was that because she was so easy going, I paid less attention, and I failed at providing her trunk enough air circulation early on to properly strengthen her trunk. Because of this, once she went into flower, she went fast and strong and her branches could no longer support her own weight. The buds she gave me are stunning. Seeing the frost of trichomes against the green and purple with bright orange hairs is just really, really beautiful. This particular strain doesn't vibe with me well for use to quiet my anxiety /PTSD, but she's definitely an enjoyable smoke. ✌️💜 I've yet to turn her into oil, but if I do I will be sure to update!
