Ladies are cruisin 😁 Watering every 2-3 days with almost a gallon each plant. NL1s buds are coming along nicely. NL2 flowered a couple of days after NL1, but the buds don't look as dense. Would love to see the major differences when the plants are in full bloom.

Grow Questions

I've noticed during this grow that often times the newer tops leaf-tips would grow twisted. Not sure at all what the cause is. Heat? Light intensity? Watering? Every question I have about this.

There are four main causes for deformed leaves. 1. Overwatering 2. Over Fertilization 3. High temperature 4. Cold temperatures Autoflowering varieties are sensitive to high doses of fertilisers. This is a trait that can cause problems for beginner growers. This would be my best guess in your situation. Your plants look great so I would keep doing what you're doing, keep temps in check and flush every so often. Good luck!

I came home to NL2 looking a little sad. The bottom fan leaves seem unaffected. However, the upper parts of the plants make it seem underwatered. NL1 is doing just fine. This is a first for me. Any thoughts on what can be the cause?

This can be either if 2 things over or under watering . Firstly check your growing medium if its dry then give her some water . If the medium is wet then it's over watering . You can get hygrometers at various places like wal mart , amazon , garden stores , home depot . This is a handy tool to have in these situations because the symptoms are expressed the same way with the droop . I hope thid information helps you on your journey ! Happy growing !!

@greenmachine @cannibal1988 @nekosama @valhallasgarden Thank you all for your advice! Funny thing happened 😅 Soil was moist an inch deep. Picked up both pots to check weight...NL2 is a little heavier then NL1?! Freaked out a bit 😂 Decided to wait a few hours to see what happens. Several hours later NL2 is just as perky as her sister! What had happened waaaaas; I usually get home from work a few hours later than I did today. The photos were taken an hour after lights on. NL2 just woke up a little later than her big sister 🙄 Next time I wont be so quick to sound the alarm :) Happy growing 🌲 Mahalo! 🤙🏽

I posted an answer to your question. Feel free to message me if you need anything else. I noticed you have a fan right next to the pot that possibly dries her out faster than the others. Good luck!

@growdaddy420, was curious to know about too much fertilization. I'm using Down to Earth organic; Bat guano, all purpose, seabird guano, etc. I waited a month and a half after planting to let the plants est up notes before I top dressed the soil. Should I have not gone at it full strength? Just maybe half of the recommended doses?

@IndoMatrix, always start low and progressive build up from there. Half or quarter strength is a good starting point for seedlings/clones. Try to research your plant ahead of time. Generally speaking Sativas and autos are much more sensitive.
