I think by staggering my plants (and diaries) by a few days, I am going to be super busy posting here, which is good, it will be a reminder to check in on my three babies and I want to do more training and top these. My first two grows were a bit lacking in training and I used a pot that was much too small, so the final yield was disappointing. But now I have 5 gallon fabric pots and I want to grow these the right way. Your input and comments are greatly appreciated.
I just want to add about this strain, I fell in love reading the details and reviews. I hope it turns out half as cool as it sounds. Seriously, you should read up on this one.
After some defoiling and a little training. Would still love some advice on how to go about this. The videos I have found are all more demonstrative than explanatory and i would like tonfind some explanation regarding rules of thumb. How to decide what to defoil and how much to train.
Flowering SSSSSSSLLLLLLLLOOOOOOWWWWWWWLY compared to my other two plants, but I have to believe this is a good thing and that the plant is working hard to create good medicine. This is the plant I am most excited about, hands down.
Be sure to check out all the pics.
It has been hotter in here than I intended, reaching highs of near 80-degrees with very low humidity. (We turned on the heater early and this room gets way hotter than the rest of the house.) I really hope we haven't hurt her. She still looks strong. Much less yellowing than the other two, but the buds almost appear stunted. I snapped a pic of some exposed roots. Is this a bad thing? I should also mention that this was initially squeezed into a cabinet too small for the 5 gallon fabric pot--It got smooshed in there pretty good, but a few weeks ago I realized that I had room in my tent for all three plants. Look forward to hearing your thoughts on this one.
Humming right along... 13-14 weeks seems like forever. I can't wait to see how this turns out. Pretty amazing to see how much she has grown from that tiny seed. She is my tallest plant, and also the most immature at this stage.
I would like to ask the community if there is anything we can do to" fatten up" these buds?
She's a tall skinny girl. The main branch was trained so hard if it wasnt bent she'd be 3 feet tall!
She smells really good this week. It's hard to get a good picture of how stacked these buds are... Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree...
Ok, I am having a hard time operating the keyboard due to some of the incredible Cindy Jack we finally harvested after trying a small bit to make sure she was done (harvest update coming soon), but this plant is just incredible. Bud production is difficult to even show you in one picture. It's like a still shot of a big fireworks display. She is vibrant and green right down to the exposed roots I wound up with after trying to force her into a cabinet too small for her. I think seeing these strong healthy roots feeding from the soil makes me happy. I've never seen these kind of roots in a hydro set up. Have you?
This plant is a beast! Can't wait to see how it turns out. The yield from it ought to be impressive for sure. I'm tempted to dress her up like a Christmas tree. Lol.
This was really fun to grow and a beautiful plant. Initially it was in the 5gal fabric pot and crammed into a small cabinet (I had to force the door shut and latch it. As the plant got bigger, I realized I was probably harming the root structure, so I moved it to a larger tent and the soil dropped away to fill the full diameter of the pot, exposing quite a bit of roots above the surface. Even with all of that abuse, this plant kept getting bigger and bigger and bigger. I did some training on the main, and had to keep training it because the plant was forcing the light up higher than my other plants needed. There's a picture in one of the later weeks that shows that big, strong main stalk pretty much bent in the shape of an "S" and the plant was still over 2ft tall! I realize that's probably nothing for some master growers, but to me it was spectacular and I can't wait to pop another seed and try it again without the mishaps. The smoke is excellent and got me through finals week in grad school where I gave a presentation on the use of cannabis to treat PTSD and anxiety disorders. Thanks Dutch Passion. This is my new favorite medicine. Oh, and bonus! I got seeds! I didn't think autoflowers would produce seeds. I guess I am extra lucky?
