Trying to make the best of my first grow. Planted 6 seeds, 6 germinated but only 5 managed to poke out of the dirt.
Kept my water at 5.7-5.9ph, watering lightly on days 2, 4 and 6.
They are growing well and the only issues I can see are with my lights, definitely won't be enough for much longer but I've already ordered 2 more.
Started feeding them nutrients on day 8. Used half of the recommended amount on the mega-crop and cal-mag instructions to make sure that they don't get burnt.
Some of them were falling over, I think they stretched too much because of the weak light and when they started getting heavier leaves they couldn't handle the weight. I added a couple of bamboo sticks for them to lean over on and in about 36 hours they were strong enough to stand by themselves.
They're starting to grow really fast.
Fed them again with the diluted nutrient solution on day 10. New lights are set to arrive today so hopefully, they'll look a little bit happier tomorrow.
Day 11 -
Added the two extra lights and improved the vents in the room. Some dust from the drywall fell on top of one of the plants and it has small spots (not one of the ones I'm taking daily pictures of but I added some pictures of her)
All the other ones seem to be loving the new lights, the temperature increased to 82 degrees, which I'm okay with for now but will keep monitoring.
The plant on the plastic pot is retaining more water in the soil than the other ones and it's a bit droopy.
They are starting to smell!
Day 12-
The spots are a bit lighter today.
Plants are looking happy and healthy.
Days 13/14
Increased nutrient amounts and started watering every morning. I managed to bring the temperature and RH under control by improving my exhaust fand and airflow.
They're healthy and strong, starting LST tomorrow!
Day 15-
Starting week 3 strong. The smells are becoming more noticeable and they're bulking up and getting bushy.
They're starting to dry up pretty fast, started feeding them every morning and they seem to be enjoying that a lot.
Later today I'll get some training wire to start with some LST.
Day 16 -
Tied down the girls last night and they're already up today. I decided to not LST one of the Stilton Special x 3BOG because it's on a plastic pot and I didn't feel like drilling holes. It'll be cool to compare the yields of the trained flower with the free one.
Noticed some light nutrient burn on the tip of the leaves of Stilton Special x 3BOG so I'm going to keep them with water only for a couple of days.
Day 17 -
Tied them down again today, trying to expose as many growths as I can to the lights. They're growing really fast, and besides the nutrient burn o a couple of leaves they seem to be very happy.
Day 18 -
Slight leaf curling in a couple of the plants, so I'm skipping the water today.
They already bounced back from the LST yesterday, I'm tying down the larger stems again today.
19-
Saw a little bit of light damage on the tops of the plants so I'm lifting up the lights about 10 inches, so they're around 24 inches to the top of the canopy. Fed them water and nutes
20-
Another LST day, they're really happy and growing fast.
21-
I'm realizing that I overcrowded the room by quite a bit - next grow I'm only running two plants so they have enough room grow.
Looking at pictures from day 15 to day 21 is insane, they're growing so much week on week.
Day 22-
Started week for feeding them some nutrients, I increased slightly the amount of Mega Crop because the started showing a couple of signs of deficiency.
I definitely overpopulated my grow room, I should probably get rid of a couple of plants to give the other ones more room but I'm already attached to all of them so I'll try to make the best of the situation. For my next grow I'll definitely stick to 2 maybe 3 plants but no more.
It's getting hard to take pictures of them from inside the room, so I think I'll start taking them out for the photos.
Day 23 -
They are almost completely dry, so I'm going to water them again.
As the plants get bushier my little fan is struggling to keep the airflow going, going to order a couple of larger ones to get the humidity down before they start flowering.
