I ran one of these on my first auto grow and she was a very impressive strain. Obviously knew I had to get some more. It was a challenge to get one sprouted up and running since there was some kind of issue with this batch of seeds. But after nursing this girl out of her shell here we are up and running!
I soaked her in tap water for about 24 hours until she popped but this batch had a hard time breaking out of the inner membrane of the seed so after another 24 hours I carefully cut away the membrane to expose the root. Placed her in a rockwool cube that was soaked overnight in ph 6 water. She came up the next day and I put her in the bucket when she had about half an inch of taproot exposed from the bottom of the rockwool.
Running her in a low tech diy dutch bucket setup that usually works great for me. Medium is 100% perlite will be pumping nutrients 24/7 until she gets some root structure.
The plan is train her hard and keep her wet. She is a week behind her uk cheese roomate that she is sharing the bubbly with. I have high hopes that she will catch up. I want them cookies!!!!
This girl is going smooth and steady considering she had a rough start. Gave her a 5 gallon flush and fresh nutrients. Topped her on day 11 and the side branches are starting to make their way up a little. Ph ran a steady 6 all week. She is still under a 23w 6500k daylight cfl will be putting her under a galaxyhydro 1000w soon. Hope to get some hard training in on her if she cooperates. And the most inportant update is we are a week closer to the summer heat going away!
This one is growing pretty steady. She has been neglected on the training because to other plant in the room is taking up so much space. Hopefully get her some more space in a week or 2. Gave her a 10 gallon flush and fresh nutrients. I am trying out the armor si and some humic/fulvic acid. Ph has held steady so far.
This girl is growing strong and happy. Gave her the weekly 10 gallon flush and fresh nutrients. Pumping nutrients 24/7. I havent been able to train her the way I want to because there isnt much room. Will be moving her roommate in a couple days so she can spread out. Hope I can get her wider before she flowers.
She is growing out nice and steady. Cut the lights back to 18 hours and started feeding a little maxibloom after her weekly 10 gallon flush. Pumping nutrients 24/7. Will be doing some defoliation and pruning of the bottom branches soon. I think she will start flowering in the next week. My first gsc was always a happy plant and this one seems to be doing just as well.
Been a smooth week on this one. I am still impressed by how easy it is to keep this strain happy. Looks like she is preflowering so I expect some stretch over the next week or 2. I cleaned up the lower branches to help focus more energy on the top. The stems are too hard to bend very much but I am hoping to spread her out a little more as she stretches. Until then just going to keep baking these cookies at 77 degrees.
This girl is moving right along. This strain is still the easiest growing strain I have seen. Always happy. We are entering flower. Starting to see a few pistils develop on the tops. I gave her the weekly 10 gallon flush and I cut out the grow nutrients since her color is pretty dark. The maxibloom should provide her enough nitrogen from here on. Just going to keep her baking at 77f until these cookies are ready .
Another smooth week with this happy strain. Gave her a 10 gallon flush and fresh nutrients. Just going to keep the dial set to 77f until these cookies bake to gooey perfection.
This girl is happy as always. Gave her the flush and fresh nutrients. Looks like her stretch is about over. She needs some major defoliation soon so light can get deeper in the canopy. The buds are starting to stack. Gotta try to get this girl nice and plump for the @Fast_Buds Halloweed photo contest.
This one didn't put on near as much stretch as the last one but she is doing well. A little heavy on the nutrients so I diluted the the reservoir. She is doing her thing making some buds.
Gave her the weekly flush and fresh nutrients. She is building buds. Starting to see some nice frost. Her color is still pretty dark even though I lowered the nutrients last week. Just going to keep these cookies baking at 77f until she is ready
Buds look like they are starting to swell a little. Trichomes are looking nice. Gave her a 10 gallon flush and fresh nutrients. I think she has about another 2 weeks left. Just going to keep these cookies baking at 77f until they are ready.
With all of the moving my lights around I managed to burn the cookies a little but the buds are looking good. Most of the pistils are browning but the trichomes still have some clouding up to do. I am thinking she has 2 weeks left. I gave her a flush and fresh nutrients. I will probably start her final flush in a week unless the trichomes start turning amber fast.
After a 6 day flush the beauty in this girl is clear to see. She has more of a berry fruit aroma than my last gsc. Chopped her down and removed most the fan leaves for air circulation. Will hang her up in the dark at 65f and around 50% humidity for a few days then start the trimming. I could talk about her all day but as they say...a picture is worth a thousand words. Wish I could share the aroma with you guys and girls. Will update harvest when she is dry and manicured.
Smoked a little scissor hash ball and it is very floral tasting. It is like rose petals. Pleasant and unique.
This girl didn't get the training or care she should have due to lack of space but in the end she turned out great. Was an easy run and ended up with some great smoke.
