Green Gelato

Let the fun commence, super excited to be running these beautys. I'm going to be doing a comparison grow between 'Easy Boost Organic' & 'Canna' nutrients. 01/08 Placed in a cup of water, sank within a few hours and a slight crack appearing. Quick as you like! 01/08 Placed between 2 damp paper towels and left for the rest of the day/overnight 02/08 Taproot poking out enough to be put in tiny cubes of 70% coco coir 30% perlite, inside a cheap propagator. 03/08 started poking their little heads through the coco 💚🌱 04/08 Woke up to them both sprouted, I cant do things quick enough for these girls 😂 their pots they're getting transplanted in haven't even been dispatched yet.... the race is on Amazon 05/08 all going smoothly so far 💚 plant 2 seems to be ever so slightly quicker (few days off the start line, let's see how it progresses). But they're both amazing me already. 06/07 not much growing on, roots developing I imagine. Plant 1 seems to have had a slight growth spurt and caught up with plant 2. 07/07 day 5 sprouts coming on nicely. Really hoping 1 gal fabric pots arrive today. 08/08 couple of roots poking through, first true set of leaves starting to grow..... transplant pots arrived finally. mixed up the coco/perlite and buffered that with calmag, plan to transplant in next day or two

10/08: new week, just transplanted in to 5L fabric pots. Plant 1 has had the RQS dry nutes mixed in with the coco 25g/5L I think?! Plant 2 is going to be fed canna nutes starting at about 1/3 strength 11/8 being an irresponsible plant owner and leaving the babies unattended until tomorrow. 12/08 both doing really well, I can tell this is going to be a good grow! Plant 1 being watered with PH water (dry 'Easy Boost Organic' nutes in coco 25g/5L). Plant 2 about to have her first feeding of 'Canna' at 1/3 strength (which should have been done yesterday) 12/8....first feed just completed, I already prefer the dry mixed organic nutrients, just because of how simple they are to use, simply water your plant(I added a little extra calmag because in coco 0.5ml/1L)! Never crossed my mind before to use something like this, let's hope the end result matches up to the canna nutes 13/8 rapid growth rate continues. Plant 1, Easy organic dry nutes, has a slightly better colour to her. Plant 2 may need more nitrogen I'll up her feed to 1/2 strength on her next meal. 14/8 as you can see, there's no stopping these girls now. No real difference in size yet, plant 1's (RQS nutes) next set off leaves are poking through a bit more (by a millimetre lol), barely noticeable. 17/8 today is the end of week 2 from seed. Really pleased with these girls so far. Easy boost organic nutrients seem to be doing well 👌 so simple to use, all I have to do is water the plant when needed, no faffing mixing 5+ different bottles of nutrients!! I feel I'm going to be switching over to these before I even see the results

18/8 beginning of week 3 from seed, happy with how they are both doing, not seeing much difference just yet, plant 1 is a lot more compact by the looks of it. Still preferring the dry organic nutes 👍 ....thinking about topping towards the end of the week, we'll see how things progress. 21/8 going well plant 2 is going to be fed PH water for the next couple of feedings, think I went a bit hard on the nutes. Looking like they'll both be good for topping come week end. 20/8 growing well, given PH water 22/8 really taking off now, definitely be getting topped in the coming days. Both plants doing well 23/8 both given PH water 24/8 21 days from seed and these girls are doing brilliant. Just done my first ever attempt at topping, let the girls rest for the next few days and keep my fingers crossed all went well 🤞

25/8 Start of week 4 from seed I believe, plant 1, being fed 'Easy Boost Organic Combo' has the dry mix stuff in the Coco, added the 'part 2' tablet ended up mixing with 4L of water, says it lasts a week mixed up so I gave her about 0.5L today as she was really dried out. Plant 2, being fed 'Canna' colour seems to be getting better, I'm going to continue giving her canna CalMag & Rhizotonic' until she looks like she wants a bit more. All going well though, both plants are still alive after their topping! 🤞🌱💚 Man I need a bong now 🔥💚 26/8 both plants recovering well after being topped. Not been watered or fed since yesterday, will wait until they are drier. Plant 1 is going to be a lot more short and bushy by the looks of it (which is what I need in grow space). 27/8 plant 1 recovered a little faster, shed almost picture perfect, happy 1 plant 1 though. No feed or water again today 28/8 think I seriously overwatered plant 1 😂🙈 live and learn. Going to let her rest for a couple more days. plant 2 doing really well, unwilling start LST soon and possibly top a couple of sites early next week 29/8 plant 2 is taking off again, I've started LST on both of them. #1 is not as developed, I removed a few leaves off her today as they were preventing proper airflow. Plant 2 has been fed for the first time in a while, plant 1 has had a tiny bit of water 30/8 had every intention of transplanting both girls, however I only had enough coco for 1. Decided to transplant #2 in to 7Gal fabric pots as she is the most developed. Both have roots starting to push through the bottom of the old pots, may have left it a couple of days too long. 31/8 Coco coir never arrived for plant 1 so I'm hoping it come tomorrow. Plant 2 has been topped quite a few times today letting her rest now. Not sure what plant 1 is doing it could me getting root bound? Gave plant 2 some calmag water, nothing for plant 1

1/9 Both finally transplanted to 7gal Fabric pots. Plant 2 is doing really well, no stopping her now!! Plant 1 is doing slightly better than she was, going to give a slight defoliation over the coming week and hope she picks up. 2/9 plant 1 is slowly getting her shit together I think, I'm going to leave her be as much as I can this week. Plant 2 is doing me proud, recovered well after transplant/topping I'm going to continue training her as I see fit. 3/9 #2 has been fed today, nothing for #1. #1 is slowly getting there now, #2 is still going strong as ever💪 I think I may take a few clones off her soon 4/9 been noticing a few wet patches the past couple of days, had a biting a trim and will continue to do so as needed. Plant 1 is starting to do her thing now too, plant 2 going string as usual. Both have had a little trim ....can't remember if i watered or fed today 😂 5/9 no comment today, tired out 6/9 plant 1 doing well now, shes starting to look quite hungry sevill give her a feed tomorrow of the easy boost 123 combo. Plant 2 doing her thing as usual 💚

8/09 I think this is is going to be the last week of veg, I'm not going to do much to them hopefully 9/9 been super neglected the past few days, and will be left pretty much alone for the next few days. Should see whatbtgeyvare made of now. 12/09 I messed up!! I've been building a flowering room and stupidly forgot to check light timer was set.... so plant 2 has been sat in darkness for almost 2 days I guess we will start her flowering then 😂 ...now this is where I messed up even more! I left plant 1 in the veg tent 🙈 I'm going to leave her in there for a bit longer and just focus on plant 2 flowering 13/9 day 3 of flowering I guess?! Not sure at what point pistils start popping, nothing showing yet but I imagine it'll be soon

15/9 cant remember what day flower!! Plant 1 has been put in the flower room as I ran out of space in the veg tent!! Plant 2 is popping those sweet sweet pistils!! Also getting quite a smelly girl👌 💚

22/9first update since I've been on holiday, I left the plants in the best hands i could find 👌💚 23/9 really pleased with plant #2 I've taken plenty of clones off her before she was in flower(and gifted to friends/kept a couple). Any water she will have this week will just be water & little calmag 24/9 both starting to show where bud sites will soon be, I hope!! Plant 2 has definitely been the start child the whole grow. 25/9 plant 1 popping pistils alot quicker than plant 2 26/9 growing well but taking a while to start flowering, I'm not sure if that's just me being impatient or what?! Either way plant 2 is actually going to be a monster at this rate. I increased boost nutes in hope it will speed things up 27/9 not sure if plant 2 is popping green pistils or she is just a layer bloomer 🤔 plant 1 was put in to flower a little bit later than #2 however she is starting to bloom quicker. Maybe just different phenos? Or maybe because I fucked up with the light timer the other week, who bloody knows?! 28/9 fiiinally starting to get pistils on the larger plant!! I was getting worried she would never stop growing!

29/9 pistils starting to pop everywhere now, plant 2 is still stretching/growing ...its just a shame it's not plant 1 😬 30/10 both plants in flower now, absolutely no worries about these girls finishing up. I'll not be dropping my guard though, they will have a constant watchful eye on them 1/10 plant 2 is genuinely the biggest plant I've ever grown 🙈 she just keeps getting massive, super happy with both plants performance far though 2/10 gave plant 2 probably her final trim and a little bit of a tie down on some branches also had a feed 5/10 plant 2 is just ridiculous in size for what I was expecting ...or aiming for. I'm not complaining at all though

6/10 plant 1 is flowering nicely and doesnt seemed to have stretched. Plant 2 is finally focusing her energy on flowering... I think 7/10 definite bud sites forming in plant 2 now, notes fast as I would like but you cant rush perfection. At this rate plant 1 is going to be ready a lot sooner 8/10 not done anything to them today, next couple of waterings are just going to be PHd water 9/10 same old, same old 11/10 shes getting in to it now

13/10 took her out of the tent for the first time since she has been in flower and really noticed how much she is starting to smell 14/10 15/10 16/10 17/10 drinking alot

21/10 both fed PH water only 22/10 making progress now, I feel like I can smell the finish line 24/10 starting to stack up now 25/10 definitely in full swing now 26/10 end week

27/10 think I am supposed to add pk 13/14 soon, but i have no idea really. 28/10 I think I will be adding PK either end of this week or early next week. Nitrogen cut back massively...well even more than I have already 1/11 added pk 13/14 to her feed a couple days ago, really not sure if it's the right time, probably a bit late if anything! Looks like she is bulking up now 2/11 chugging along nicely

3/11 another week down 👊💚🌱 definitely an end in sight now, shes a big girl too 4/11 6/11 happy with how she is coming along 7/11 really fattening up now

10/11. No, your eyes do not deceive you, we are on to another week!! ....officially the longest I've kept a plant alive 💚🌱 I want to say she has about another 5 week(ish) left till harvest?! Anyone care to guess?? (I have no clue)... feeding very lightly from here. 11/11 no words needed anymore 🔥 12/11 today was a sad day for me and the plant 14/11 she is getting chopped no later than 25 Nov (11 days away)

17/11 although I was disheartened from splitting the stem :( I'm seeing how silly i was to worry, as always with RQS their plants are strong, sturdy and unmoved by anything I throw at them 💪🔥🌱 another 2 weeks to go max... shes actually not been fed or watered since 6th November when I tested run off ... anything given now will be straight tap water

I want to say this will be the last week 🤞🌱🔥 ...25/11 1 plants has been chopped 28/11 2nd plant chopped

Although I grew 2 plants I only weighed 1. I got just over 5.25 Oz of beautifully trimmed bud and a couple ounce of trim for bubble hash.
