Second Grow

My Second Grow. Dropped seeds on 28 July 2019 Today is day 7 and 3 are looking really healthy and then there is one runt that is struggling. Hoping for 2 females.

Day 14 Transplanted Peat pots to 1.3l Pots. Last pots were 2l but I want to achieve a better root ball this time around. Was liberal with the Mycorrhiza. First grow I planted seed straight into 2l pots. And the added Mycorrhiza when transplanting to the bigger pots. This time there is Mycorrhiza around small peat pot and then I will add more when I do the 3rd transplant. New soil. Just premium potting soil from Garden store. Added more Pearlite this time. I think the soil was a bit heavy the last grow. Happy with the 4 plants. The bigger 2l pot in the middle in the last pictures are some Chilli seeds that I am trying which will go on the balcony when spring comes around in a month.

Looking good. Broad leaves, happy plant. 10ml/l Natures own Bat guano. Soil drains much easier than first grow. I do have more pearlite and soil also has some coco coir in it. Starting Nutrients from beginning this time as well.

Day 33 Plants looking really healthy. Maybe 3 times as big as my first grow. Started the mainlining. Mainlined above the 3rd node. Decided to remove all growth from 2 of the plants and the other 2 I left an additional 2 fan leaves at node 2. removed the bud site though. Just want to see if the 2 additional fan leaves give extra growth. Will give a week to recover and then going to replant into slightly bigger container. 4.7l My first grow I think I used too big containers 9.6l and my root system never had time to grow through it. However I have made my soil considerably lighter and added more Mycorrhizae, so hoping for a far better root system. I can tell by the growth its already better.

Day 43 Replanted into slightly bigger containers. Good and healthy root structure. Also mainlined and topped the second time. Plants looking healthy.. Added some more Mycorrhizae. DAY 47!!!! At least 2 plants showing female :) :) :)

Day 50 still low stress training. going well. Mainlined last time. had some splitting in the stalk t junction but has healed up nicely.

Day 59 Tying down 1 plant one more time. Leaving other plant as is. Haven't had any deficiencies yet this grow so the bat guano seems to be working very well,

Day 66 Getting to the end of veg time. Looking nice and bushy. Probably flip lights on day 70. If the double in height during the stretch it will probably be as much as my box can take. Very happy with the health of the pants though. Fed 5ml/l grow and 5ml/l bloom couple of days ago and will again before switching to just bloom.

Day 74 Flipped to 12/12 Last night. Did a good defoliation 2 days ago and gave plant couple of days to recover. Both plants are looking really healthy. Added Bloom function on lights to Grow function. Started feeding Canna Bio Flores. Added 2 more fans to my box. Hoping for a good stretch.

Day 79 Flipped to flower on Tuesday 08.10.2019 at Day 74. Happy with the entire veg process this grow. No nutrient deficiencies and a good 74 days from seed Both plants have filled out the box quite nicely. Will have a good 16 colas. Feeding 1.5 litres between the 2 plants with about 8-10 mls Canna flores every second day. The smaller pots get dryer quicker than my first grow which I think is better overall.

Day 14 Flower Stretch has been going along nicely. Another week of it and it should fit the box perfectly. Did a last bit of LST. Spreading out the plant a little more to get some more light into the center. Other than than looking good. Feeding every 3rd day with Canna Flores. So far very happy with my second grow. Last grow yielded 2.5 ounces from my first plant. Hoping for more this time round.

Day 28 of flower Filling out nicely. One plant is very stretchy and open the other quite bushy. Bushy one has a more Pink tinge on the buds, Stretch is more orange

Day 35 Frosty

Day 43 of Flower Filling out nicely. Bush vs Stretch. Stretch is looking fatter :)

Day 48 of Flower Looking pretty good Random bag seed and looking like 2 different strains which will be nice.

Day 65 of Flower. Everything looking really good. Most Pistols are turning a nice amber and some purples and pinks. Still getting nice bursts of new growth with pure white pistols.

Day 63 Flower 1 more week to go. Going to flush twice this week. Both plants looking healthy.

Harvested 2 plants. Bushy and Stretch. Day 68 Of flower and Day 109 from seed. Mainlined both for 8 colas. Bushy : 8 colas wet weight 209 grams (after trim) Stretch 8 colas wet weight 237 grams (after trim) 2nd grow went well. Definitely got better and thicker colas. 3rd grow should be even better.
