Hi folks! This is my 2nd time (feel like petting the blondish neighbor @ age 13! 😍). I soaked 4 beans yesterday (Aug 5, 2019) in distilled water with few drops H2O2 (against fungi and molds) for 10 hrs, then planted into small cellulose pots (6lx6hx6Øcm) colonized with Mychorizza Fungi spores. Placed under a dome with thermometer/hygrometer and circled with reptile heating cord to raise temp and RH. F**k sake, dumb As* that I am! Working on the PC made me forget about the heating cord and after 1 hr or so the soil temp was around 44°c (112°f)!!! 😱 Apparently, I stewed my beans even before seeing them sprout!!! Fair chances this journal's gonna be "quite" short, LUL! 👋💩👋💩 Buried the stewed beans who sadly have been overcome by my negligence ;) No worries! Back on track with Bruce Banger, a mainly Sativa hybrid for a giggling growth experience & Gorilla Girl new batch, new luck! 3x Bruce Banger (Seedsman) soaked on Aug, 15th in warm water +3T. H2O2. On 16th moved to a plate with a damp napkin. On 17th 2 beans sprouted and I moved them to solo cups in a propagator with a dome, to keep Rh levels on track. On the 18th put under a 100W CFL, from 20th changed with 2x30W LED N.2 beans of Gorilla Girl (SweetSeeds) soaked on Aug 19th, on the 20th both were showing a tiny white tail and were planted into solo cups and left in a warm dark cupboard till they sprout looking for light. GG's sprouted and joined the crew in the propagator...waiting for 'em to show off their "cotyledons" ...mmmhmmm... 😹 DG

Growth seemed somewhat stunned during the 2nd & 3rd week. Geared up again during 3rd week and this is how they look now... Plan is to try a mainlining Tech. We'll see...😜

As you can see from the pictures I began manifolding. Not much to say really...I hope to see a prompt growth back @ 100% in a few days time, hopefully. I decided to give the girls 24/24 lightning as I have a harvest date which cannot be postponed, I keep 1 week in case of late ripening. Sadly I have no experience with real flowering time with these strains. I will keep them at 24hrs light for the next 7 days. If they recover vigorously I'll switch next week.

The girls😍 reacted energetically to the HSpruning and branched out, I intervened with some bend & secure to continue to keep a wide, bushy, flat, even canopy😎. Fort the time being the look is a nice SOG... This week I decided not to flower. They're too immature 'cause of the heavy pruning (that I'd have avoided if I knew few things before cutting...). I also passed from 24/24 to 20/24 and I'll leave 'em veg 1 more whole week.👍

As you can see each babe is healthy and a tiny, robust, healthy bush with few nice strong branches instead of one big cola...an even canopy is very important in my set-up, as I don't have much space to play around with and I have to treat the space I do have with great respect...especially cultivating 2 x 3 mt. and 2 x 4 mt. individuals, that need to be kept at a max height of 1.2 mt. ...I guess I'll find out what my true issues are gonna be in a couple of weeks, during full preflower stretch. Since Monday 7th light cycle is in the blooming phase, 12/12. I can't wait to see these Gorilla 😲Girls...Cheese is a mouthwatering classic but this cross between GG#4 x GSC Thin Mint 😱sounds really GOD! 👻👹

It is my first grow with photoperiodic plants. I chose pretty balanced hybrids with a foot on the Sativa side with 40/60, rarely 30/70 Indica/Sativa or around 50/50. With photoperiods, what should I expect the first 2-3 weeks right after switching the lights to blooming? Thank y'

You are going to get a stretch of a least double it's height when switched to 12/12 . So if it's a foot tall expect the plant to be 2 ft after the flowering stretch. Now there are alot of variables that come into play. Examples temp, humidity, light color, light distance, are they sick, are u properly watering plus feeding, and of course strain. Also it doesn't matter if u have a 40/60 that seed u plant can take more indica than sativa. That depends wildly on pheno of that strain.

First of all, take some pictures without the purple led on. You will expect a fair bit of stretch at first. The colas will stretch towards the light. And after a couple of weeks they will show signs of flower and sex (if you're using regular seeds, you'll need to pick out the males). The next couple of weeks will be showing and filling bud sites. And then filling up, bulking out and finally ripening/maturing. So make sure you have a nutrient plan and guide to follow from the manufacturer. Make sure you check your pH and keep adjusting the light level as the plant grows. Any problems you come across, this site is perfect as you can ask literally hundreds of people and answers will follow! Happy growing 🌱😊
