Waiting on signs of sex & still recovering from the nitrogen toxicity. I've backed off the nutes. It seems number 1 is still much darker green than the others, but it's also the biggest. I'll wait & see.
I've also been battling an algae problem on the top layer of perlite. I treated it several times w/ H2O2 to no avail. I just saw that the light/intensity along w/ the moisture, it WILL cause this issue. I sprayed a mixture of 1 tsp of hydrogen peroxide to a cup of water during lights out. I'm further going to cover the top of my soil w/ some leftover pieces of mylar from my tent. I hope this works!!!
I 'THINK' I see pistils today, but in all honesty, I'm not 100 sure since I've never seen them before - π - I posted a pic next to the cannabis anatomy chart if you'd care to take a peek for me.
@TheCaveMan,
After super cropping the plant will grow bushier, produce more buds, and possibly even produce more THC! This is how the plant naturally responses to danger and protects itself. Growers take advantage of this technique to get bigger yields and more potent buds than would be produced otherwise.

@Puffer_BillSorry to hear that. One door closes and another opens up, So now you enjoy your garden AND don't rely on anyone which is exactly my goal. Take care of myself & momma...π
@TheCaveMan,
I spent most of my life training, free diving and playing rugby. Then a serious injury put all that to rest. I got idle. And taught myself CGI and how to grow and make my own medicines instead of buying them.
I π growing.
@Puffer_Bill, Yes sir!!! More than I ever thought I would. I'm more of a tech junky out of the 60-70s. I never had a true desire to garden until now. I absolutely love seeing the daily differences. I'm only LST-ing one plant after I broke the main stem on my second plant. I want them to get a little stronger 1st. However, the one that I have been trying to train is def packed w/ a lot more sites on it compared to the others.
Earlier in the week I increased nutes and caused nitrogen toxicity that I believe I caught soon enough to correct by reducing nutes to a minimal amount, add 3 ml of Cal-Mag+ and pH 5.9 ONLY. All 4 plants turned a dark forest green, the tops appeared wilted and the tips of the leaves were barely discoloring, but noticeable. Another lesson learned. Beware of the plant color INSIDE the tent w/ the Optic 4 LED ON.
I didn't even notice the color darkening as it did until about a day - 1/2 later when I took them out to vacuum the run-off. At least I learn something new every day! π· Anyway, I believe since I noticed it so soon and backed off immediately on the nutes that they'll bounce right back. I just hate the thought of even more growth stunting, but hey, it is what it is. I'm learning!
