I had them in these Petti Pot whatever these things are called. I was moving them from outside on my balcony (east), to my bedroom window (west) to get lots of light. Moved it around while I could/ when I got home. Distilled water. Guaranteed I over watered these. The soil was soaking the entire time they were seedlings. deeerp.
I had a jug of yeast and sugar going at it in the corner. I killed Mary by pouring about 400ml of Co2 water/ bi product alcohol water into my soil (the intermediary jug not covered). I gave her over a week to recover and she grew in all fucked up. So I pulled the plug.
I prepped my Stepwell Super Soil (500ml/G of soil) with water and mixed before planting.
I'm unsure how wet the bottom of the bucket is 30 days later.
My plant is using 1L of water per day.
How could I check the soils wetness?
Would watering until run off help growth rate?
Well that is one awesome looking plant very healthy takes to training well over the weeks you've grown her .do you have drainage holes big enough in bottom ? Soil wetness meters I've seen don't look reliable or go to a depth that your looking at hard to say in that situation .soaking the medium to the point of runoff when she is other wise very healthy will not improve the growth rate of this girl it would probably stunt her .she looks good unless she shows signs of root problems or just started acting weird I wouldn't worry about the bottom of that pail just my though good luck
D1 of week 7. - Overwatered at end of week 7, she looked sad, but was perked up the next morning (roughly 9 hours of crying about her conditions). I have plans to veg for another week, because I have my second 600W Cree Cob LED coming in. 1200 W of power should help pump up the veg state before I flip the switch. Then I'll have tons of light for flowering. Feeding with distilled water because no more spring water. :)
D4 of week 7 - came home after not tending to plants for 2 days, they were severely underwatered. Fed 4L over the next 7 hours to make sure bottom of bucket was wet. Overwatering symptoms for 2 days, other than that it was okay.
D6 week 7. New light came in. another 600w meizhi. showed up just in time for flowering. First pistils seen today. Explosive growth in 24 hrs. Trellis netting bought to support buds. I don't know how to tie the trellis to the tent properly. I used ties and tape.
W8 D3 - Got an Infinity S4 fan to help with the intense heat problem. Temps skyrocketing to 32 Celcius because the booster fans couldn't pull the heat out of the tent fast enough.
W8 D4 - Plant showing light stress from new light. At 1200W @ about 19" it was too intense. Lights moved to 24". Will observe changes over the next couple of days. Both white fans are dead now. They lasted 2 months. 30 $ not worth. Still wondering if this is an auto. Why the fuck isn't it flowering yet? I thought it was flowering with the stretching but still no pistils. I thought some new growth was pistils, but it was new growth. IDGAF how auto this thing is, I need to switch my lights tomorrow. I am thinking lights on from 7Am - 7PM.
