I live in southern ontario(Barrie) I prune the leaves. Its showing its maturity more so now and looks like its stretching. When is the best time to stop pruning?
I also live in Ontario brother not all that far from you , and I can tell you that you instead of pruning your plant right now , you should be getting it ready for it last bit of stretch and training while you still can (before the stalks really harden up) I would use LST method of training at this point to optimise the lighting your plant will receive by spreading it out pruning will cause alot of uneeded stress and can cause your plant to slow down in flower development . LST will help boost yield and flower structure in your outdoor grow and prevent your plant from getting unwanted stresses . I hope this information helps you on your quest to the finish !! Started LST. It worked to well. Open areas filled in fast.
Started to see mildew on lower leaves. I sprayed them with anti fungual and Did some prunning. Im hoping that it works.
1st Amnesia kush is a cross between a kush and a haze so it is more an Hybrids than a real kush. That said don't forget that nowadays a lot of strains are labelled as kush because the kush label is like the 90's "Skunk" label : a generic term to call a Good dank weed.
For a good kush choice I am recommending you the classics like the OG kush for the lemony/hearty taste and the potency , the Master kush for the deep hearthy taste , Barney's farm cookies kush is also easy to grow. They are so many kush out there that it will be hard to re commend you only one of them
Prunning small amount and working your way up to a large amount just before flower works just fine. It never showed a sign of slowing down. I never used fert untill just before flower.
Did my last one yesterday and will probably start a flush soon. Not sure if I should fert one more time or make sure its flushed good. Anyone? Today the smell went from a 5 to a 10!
Ending its year off in a tent. There was so much Dew on it in the mornings that mildew was starting to make an appearance. I cleaned and snipped the leaves if need be but the tent was the answer. I think It could have had another week but It was out of time. Unfortunately it did produce a few seeds. But the smoke is great!!!. I prefer it over most other strains but I only grew one :( lol Solid strain to grow outdoors. It looks amazing and stays strong through the entire season. I got 250g-300g for my first grow.
