Barneys Farm Red Diesel I have wanted to grow this strain for quite some time now and It's finally happening 😀
Running them in two small self watering pots with perlite and vermiculite until they get bigger .
Will update as They grow 👌
The two Red diesel girls spent their first week in less than ideal conditions because of overcrowding
However my new tent arrived today so they will be happy now . Only got the cfl hanging until the other Mars LED '
rocks up . My plan with these girls is to keep them inside until october before moving them into a greenhouse environment
Will possibly need to to use the gas lantern method to keep them veg once they are outdoors .
Only feeding them a weak solution of nutes once a day and they seem happy enough . 👍
The Two Barneys farm Red Diesel seedling's second week of Life has been as well as can be expected.
Because the vermiculite holds moisture very well I have only needed to feed once every two days .
I make up a 5 Litre Mix with 2mls of Super Thrive and 2.5mls of Seasol mixed into the Rainwater from my Tank.
I then Ph it down to 5.9 and the PPM is aprox 400-500 .
😃 👍👍👍👍
Barneys Farm Red Diesel week 4
Both Plants are very healthy I topped REd 1 but have left REd 2 as normal.
It will be interesting to see the comparisons as they grow 😀
Feeding every 2 days with aprox 500mls of a mix consisting of ...
Professors Nutes A+B and GHE Calimagic
Ph 5.9 PPM 500
Barneys Farm Red Diesel week 5
Transplanted RD1 into a 30L pot with no drainage holes
Attempting a hempy bucket style grow out with clay balls on the bottom few inches
Then a 90/10% perlite vermiculite mix .
Red diesel 2 , I put into a 20L fabric grow bag filled with perlite and a bit of vermiculite.
I have offered to give plant number 2 to a friend once she's a little bigger so we'll see what happens
however I have plans for RD 1 as she is looking like a nice pheno with nice structure and side branching.
Really been hitting them with a good fast flow from the fan to help strengthen up those stems and branches . 👊
Barneys Farm Red Diesel
She is growing great and responded well to the topping I did .
My goal is to keep the canopy of buds as level as possible so that all the potential sticky buds receive an equal amount of light.
Changed the light schedule to 12/12 this morning but as I said in the pink kush diary I dont consider a plant to be in the flowering
stage until I can see the pistils . I beleive it allows for an easier determination of flowering Times as different plants react to the flip in different ways.
Feeding Advanced nutrients Ph Perfect Grow micro and bloom @ 4mls per litre 👊
Update 18th Sep She is showing her 1st pistils After only 2 days of being @ 12/12 which is pretty bloody good in my book
Barneys Farm Red Diesel
It's exactly 7 days since I changed the lighting schedule to 12/12, and I have seen the 1st pistils showing so let the countdown begin.
I attached two eyelets into the corners of the pot and have used LST to train the two branches created from topping to grow horizontally
Hopefully creating a fairly even spread of flowers
That's about it for now Thanks for checking out my diary. 👍 👊
