Starting this diary in week 4 of flower. I bred these seeds by crossing Red Scare Seed Company - Purple Sherpa x Purple Sherpa. There are two phenomes of Purple Sherpa as verified face-to-face with the breeder. #1 an indica dominant, short stout variety with a more citrus overtone, and # 2 a sativa dominate, tall thin with sporadically placed buds, very compact as with an indica. This plant is crafted from Congolese Landrace (Vintage Pine bud). The # 2 variety holds true with a robust pine at finish with floral undertones and fresh berries and citrus hints. The parents were grown in my first batch in 2017. I grow with all Vegamatrix nutrients, any additions are chemical free and very low in metal content if any. I grow in coco to stay as true to “Vegan” as I can. I crossed a Female #2 with a Hermaphrodite #2 to get viable Feminized seed. So in essence this seed is Vegan, Purple Sherpa #2, F1. As with the parents this strain grows tall and lanky, and began trichome development early in the budlet stage, somewhere midway week 2. This plant has a long flower and can sometimes go a solid 14 weeks before harvest.
By week 4 the buds have began developing nicely as a solid precursor to the fat buds I hope to see develop over the next 2 weeks, before trichomes development begins going into overdrive. The plant at week 4 is beginning to emit a strong Pine aroma, with a subtle earthy skunk. The plants are being flowered alongside 1 spilathes(Electric Daisy) flower, and 3 White Widow. Also it’s good to note for observers and for the Growdiaries.com team, I also do apply products at a Foliar consistency. I do this a varying times for various reasons. In my log I will denote my Foliar treatments with the ml/l volume rating as that is how I mix the Foliar applications. I apply 3 product through Foliar applications at varying times in growth. For this diary I will only include what I am doing currently as the weeks pass. Which will be a regimen of pk boosting Foliar a with big and sticky, and mild and pest preventative with ftb. The insides of my enclosures are cleaned and sprayed with Mirimichi Green Pesticide. A Vegan pest repellent made of essential oils. This product is not applied to the plants.
you have plenty of choice my friend….but the best is to build correctly at start a good bareer with beneficials….i mean fungus helps ! some specific strains of trichoderma acting like mobiles nutrients goes trougth veins to leaves to protect again and infect pests…..as philindicus said….but to be really effective you have to respect a full approach of what you call organic/végans processes 😊….there is new produts in coming from the pro market as bio ceres WP for example but pricey….as said again by my friend 😙 neem oïl is also really effective but needed to be dilued with vegetal soap to be correctly used….but one of the best remains others beneficials insects….lady bug, beneficials mites against mist...etc etc
but all solutions must have been thought of….feel free i you want to do a trip in microscopic world….to take alook on my 2nd Week of my diary let mother do the job if you want to see how works benficials fungals . hope this helps in the future 👊
