Hi! Well,I'm back. I'm realy back on stage in the world of growing Cannabis and I can't believe it...! After a hard and long periode without any grow-activities for exact 3 years,me and my plants are together again. So,I'm very, very happy because an unique, unusual and interesting story of more than 25 years of growing weed goes on. Before I'll start to talk about my actual grow and my setup, which is still under construction,I'll tell you something about me. I hope, you'll like it. I'm growing my own weed since I was about 18 years old. Now,I'm 44 and I've experienced alot during the last 26 years. I've started with a small TL-setup from about 100 watt many years ago and during the following years not only my plants,my knowledge and my experiences have grown up like hell, but also my grow rooms...! I've had setups with one and with two, with a few and with alot of 400 and 600 watt HPS-lamps (and with a big lot of them...!). I've owned a growshop and I've build up a special nursery for botanik rarities and psychoactive cacti wherefrom I've grown up ten thousand's of Peyote and other cacti. After a break of 3 years,I've started to build up a new, small growroom and I'll give you a closer look on my work the next weeks ,if you're interested. For today, some older pics from the past, actual ones will follow this days....! Best regards,Doc Phoenix

For my opinion, this lamps (especially the reflectors) are one of the best types which where ever made. They where designed during the 90th in the Netherlands by Poot Lichtenergie and later produced by Hortilux Schreder. The special thing are the reflectors, they are very well designed with a very unique and efficient shape to give a absolute homogen light on the area. There where 4,later 5 different types available (Deep,Medium,Wide and Super Wide) made from thick, special anodized aluminium for different lightning solutions in dutch greenhouses. The Poot PL 94 armatures are the most robust lamps I've ever seen. I'm still using this type of lamps, mostly because of the phantastic reflectors (at least as I'll grow with HPS-lamps). Unfortunally, the Haze plants are all history, they where picked up by the police a few years ago. Especially,I miss my really old Silver Haze...! Before that accident I was in the lucky situation to have about 4 square meters as a playing ground only for my personal Haze passion,so time, yield and so on was not an important factor. Anyway, the times are changing and now,I'm realy happy to be able to build up my actual growing area with about 2,5 qm for flowering and just enough space for a few mother plants and cuttings for the next periode.

@Doc_Phoenix, in the 90's they were good, now it's Gavita Pro the N°1 😉 If you could hang 8 Gavita's it would be awesome 👍

Great story. Thanks for sharing. Im looking forward to watching your grow develop. I do hope though, you will lose the photo filter. Your ladies aren't flattered and we can't see whats going on, but what ever it is, we can see its too good not to share. :-)

I recognize these old ballasts with there big pan reflectors.... I'm still using one but I've unscrewed the pan and putted a large reflector without hanging the full ballast .... The haze library is still alive ?
