Gold Bar Kush DWC Grow

Gooold bars, sounds good! Love orange bud, love kush, lets see what these puppies do! Also first ever dwc grow, first ever LED grow and new grow cabinet, hope i can pull this one off. Popped 2 seeds, cubes soaked in pH 6 water

LED time! Transplanted them into a big tub of hydroton and watering them twice a day from the res. No roots poking through the bottom yet. Might get a second LED light during flower.

First roots poking through and looking awesome! Time for some growth explosion 😷 Didn't change the res yet as it has barely been touched. Was still watering before the roots hit the water, two cups from the res a day through the hydroton.

T tried to FIM the one on the left but I kind of messed that one up I think, so I just topped the right one. They look like theyve been flattened out, but I think I also put the light too close... Upped the feed a bit, raised the lights, switching to flower once they've recovered😀

The FIMmed plant on the left doesn't look nearly as good as the one I topped, guess I really did mess that up a bit. They're growing quickly again though, so I switched the lights to 12/12, lets go!

Going fast now, flowers soon i hope :) Thinking of cutting down the left one because it's getting too far behind. I hope to see some flowers next week and then Ill switch to flower nutes.

They've stretched quite a lot in a week! You can barely see the one on the left anymore, I'm afraid that one won't be here next week. Switching to flower nutes too, full dose straight away.

Finally some tiny, tiny flowers that I forgot to take a pic of!... The left plant really isn't catching up, I kept hoping a bit too long. Last time I FIM lol... Started the CannaZym too, not sure if it helps but its got a bit of PK and Mag in there so should be good.

Just letting the left one die out unceremoniously I suppose.... Finally some real flowers on there though!

Still havent cut the left plant out, its barely visible anymore... Flowers developing decently, got a bit of nute burn though. I have to remember to top off the res cause they use more water than nutes now. PPM spiked up to 1200 for a day or two... Doing fine for the rest though

Starting to give off a really strong citrus smell, doesn't really smell that much like weed to be honest. The branches are super even after a bit of bending, defoliating as I go along because it's getting way too crowded.

Finally removed the rest of the FIMmed plant, she was barely getting light anymore. The healthy plant stagnated a bit, so i guess it's time to swell and mature. Really starting to smell! Upped the cannazym for the last weeks.

Started flushing, my tap water has some pretty high ppms though. Cutting her down in a few days, looking good :).

I really liked this strain, takes a while but the taste and smell make it worth it imo. Might have to get better lights at some point but I'm quite pleased with the yield. And looking at other journals I might start using more stuff like boosters etc. in the future.
