PURPLE KUSH AEROPONIC

31-08-2019 Purple Kush started today after 12 weeks of low H5 light cycle is is good to get her into the new system Nutrition will be doubled on the next Nutrition Change out in 7 days. So far! All variables are under control. I like the fact I can turn the tap and check accurately and adjust if needed unlike soil unless you are using a soil kit all the time. 😎 Pump work 15 min intervals pumping Nutritional spray. 2 different Air flows 1) in solution with air stone and 2) open wand spray inside directed at the roots to provide additional oxygen.

7-9-2019 Started to add weighted wire to the branches mid week to bend them downward and it is working nicely. I am manufacturing some New Scrog system to go along with My Aeroponic system that the lid and plant can be lifted together while the scrog is attached if I need to service the pump should there be a breakdown. The plants root system is growing rapidly and i should be looking to flowering in the next few weeks. This is so much faster! I am noticing a difference daily almost.😎

14-9-2019 Looks marvelous, nice and green and not a burn anywhere. The root system is very cool. looks like a very long and thick pony tail twisted going over the pump and into the Nutes. Been having to keep a closer eye on the solution levels and adding a few gallons as needed. Going to back off on the spray schedule to every half hour and spray on for 15 min but only during the night stage. Been also keeping a daily record of activities and variables in Excel as this site you can't do it. Thanks for following me on this journey.😎

21-9-2019 This Purple Kush is doing amazing her stalk is very thick and sturdy largest i've had so far in my grows She is really easy to train and is adapting well to being tortured. I'm going to add some washers or nuts to tie downs to pull down the branches rather than tie downs secured to the unit. decided to not use my new Scrog as it still needs some mods done to it. The root system is so massive now I had to increased the water level in the system to 9 gallons from 6. The alternate spray time adjustment is working out nicely and she seems to be thriving.

28-9-2019 Out of the 3 different strains I am growing right now.This purple Kush is doing absolutely marvelous. No sign of deficiencies at all. The main stock is so thick and fat I am totally surprised( larger than a thumb) leaves are lush green and no tip burns anywhere. As soon as my new 940 watt Conversion bulb gets here (this week) It's flower time baby.😎

6-10-2019 This plant is growing quickly with a very thick trunk and lower branches her roots are strong and I can no longer lift lid because she is tight to the back at opposite end of the intake but holding down the pump quite nicely. I like the fact i went with the bigger container as opposed to 5 gallon bucket in my design.. She is thriving and I'm smiling! 😎

13-10-2019 Out of the plants I have going this one is huge and stretched a lot in the last week. Close to 6 inches, I have started to bend the shoots downward as my clearance to the light is getting smaller by the day. lol the trunk is now the size of a toonie. i also added another air stone to the mix and she is drinking close to a gallon or more a day.😎

20-10-2019 I've created a monster plant with a huge trunk support system, I'm thinking Monster Bud. Just feed this girl some Power to Bloom and a follow up mist with some UMP in 4 days to green her out in time for Halloween.

27-10-2019 Week 4 of flower and this girl is popping BUD like a bad case of measles. Started to trim some of the under growth. Trying to keep up with her RO water demands and I should be doing a change out soon, I seem to do less change outs than if you were to have a reservoir. I might explore that later on. Why F***K with something that is working really well. She is exploding that is for sure,

3-11-2019 Into week 5 of flower and it's time for a change out of the Nutrients and add some Fresh RO water and Power To Bloom followed 4 days later with some UMP. She takes on a lot of feedings and running the RO water has been a daily task. She looks good and producing well. Buds have been close to the light with no burn so far, keep bending them down against their will every now and then.

10-11-2019 Well the way things are progressing! harvest should be tons of little Xmas Trees. Ho High Ho. I am considering chopping half down and re start flowering for a few more weeks, This tree is loaded with buds all the way down.😎

17-11-2019 She is stacking bud all the way up the stem. I had a small issue earlier i9n the week where her PH was down to 5.11 emptied adjusted the PH back to a respectable 5.68 and she is good to resonate some more. Into week 7 of flower no signs of week stems not able to support the massive buds developing.😎

24-11-2019 Week 8 of flower and no stopping this girl from bulking up, the smell is getting stronger so the addition of an Ozone Generator(Air Tiger) is going every 2-3 hrs for a few minutes to keep things in check. Had to pipe this to the outside.

1-12-2019 Crazy week for this one. first off she tilted like a Christmas tree with all the ornaments on one side. no support in the basket just a bunch of clay balls and a massive root system below. Coat hangers and 4 slots in the tub helped secure it properly. The next day a small tree like L branch holding all the weight split from mama.😲 Oh oh dang! Tuck tape with some wire support and she is good as new or at least Mama is happy she is back on and budding.😎

08-12-2019 Into week 10 of flower and she is budging everywhere. Now that i have more room for her I was able to tie the heavy buds up a little. she like to stretch those big buds out. changed out the nutrients one last time before harvest. When that will be seems like Christmas time( 12th week of flower) It's going to be a long trim. Stay tuned the end is coming soon!

16-12-2019 Started the flush cycle. Tied up some rogue bud. she is exploding and harvest should be large. Bud is rock hard with very few leaves.

23-12-2019 Final few days of flushing left, she is starting to lose her color so i am guessing just after Christmas should be the time to harvest these beauties. Looking at a comparison between a Purple Kush Planted in Coco/Promix combo. The Aeroponic plant is double the size and the buds are so dense and hard with a heavy coating of Trichomes. 25-12-2019 Christmas Morning and the Flower Light went out on this room at 12:01 AM for short dark period before Harvest on the 26th or 27th. PPM at 43.PH at 5.85 Not sure if on the next grow i will drain the tub a few days before harvest let the root system dry out. still on the fence if it would harm the bud or force from the leaves faster.😎🙏

Growing this purple was easy Going most of the way, Only drawback was she grew so big it was hard anchoring her down in the basket from the tilts, but once she was down she put on a show. Her heavy Buds were thick, hard oozing resin was potent and sticky I quickly scooped up some falling Trichomes from beneath my tray Loaded my chamber 220c and 8hrs later I finished my day.Probably could have taken half that time had i not loaded that first bowl then the next....... 😎 Just a tad over 12 Oz on my quest to hit 1 pound per plant.
