Zero nutes in week 1, coco working well. Always end up with pests using coco so I applied Diatomaceous Earth Food Grade to kill all larvae and stop pest laying eggs
Was going to start some training this week but the growth wasn't as fast as I had first suggested. The start of week 4 will have topping, defoliation and mainlining tecniques.
Well what can I say! These 2 Power Plants are taking to all this trimming and training nicely. Both are very different phenos when it comes to aromas. Not quite sure what they both smell of yet but I have a feeling the next 2/3 weeks veg will help me decide.
Week 6 looking good. End of training methods until flip. Taking well to the nutrients and is thriving in the tent. Will keep her vegging for a while longer.
Well, this has been fun. Training has been going great and feeding is weekly using coco. One of these power plants reek of pure delicioisness! The other has less smell bit still stinks.
Started to develop issues, (PH) I suspect. Issues were caught staight away, coco has no buffer in regards to PH range so first treated with PH'd water and can see improvements. Flipped to flower and now excited to see how her flowers form in roughly 3 weeks 🤞🙏
Flipped on the last day of week 8 and within a few days we had preflowers. She wss telling me she was ready and was not taking in nutes properly, sorted PH levels and flushed with 2 litres of water each then fed small amounts of flower nutes. Defoliated and noticed slight blue hues as I was trimming. Amazing smell from these girls...
Having sorted out the PH issue and the salt build up. These girls have enjoyed it so far... I will be looking to stack up each cola as mich as I can so I can yield as much as possible. I'm going short as I know these are high on Sativa. One plant has stretched very high compared to the other
Both phenos displaying different characteristics. One is stretching whilst the other is staying short and wide. Can't wait to see them both pile on the weight, looking great so far. Will have to defoliate as the older leaves are now become a pain and won't allow the lower branches to take advantage of the light.
Both girls being fed the same, both on the same day of flower. 2 totally different phenos. I like the way the long Sativa dom pheno has stayed the same shade of green where as the smaller Hybrid has lighter green shades which I first thought was PH. Both doing well, will add booster next feed and hopefully increase overall yield.
I have to say, for me not providing the greatest enviornment these girls stink! I have also been reading into Diatomaceous Earth Food Grade after I used it throughout this run. I think I caused a blockage or a slow release of some sort of mineral in one of the phenos. The other, welk the pics just show how well she's growing.
Messed up a week due to ill health. Didn't want to take my cold into the girls and have them poorly. Unfortunately one suffered severely dried leaves but still gaining sufficiant weight.
Last week before flush. Might push her a week or 2 over. See how she turns out, still small but heavy even when it comes to watering time. Hopefully she tastes like she smells 😁👊
Was growing well, everything was in check. Then I noticed seeds near the lower budsites had to chop very early. Was pollinated by accident, nothing to do with genetics! Self inflicted.
Very happy with what I habe so far, ot's not aboit quantity, it's about quality. These are so smelly and dense, plus I quick dried a bid, not the best idea but no throat catching or sore head from it so far.
