3footgiraffe Using supersoil on my first photoperiod grow and mainlining, been training these girls for several weeks and just put them into flower.. Vegged for several weeks under metal halide 250-400w Iโ€™m not expecting a faultless grow but itโ€™s all experience so i can see where I went wrong.. so far so good ๐Ÿ˜Š I will take the unwanted lower growth sites middle of next week and hopefully gauge it correctly ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ™„

3footgiraffe 21 days of flower.. getting some frosting on the upper fan leaves.. happy that the stretch was minimal and the canopy is pretty flat.. I think the super soil is a little hot but thereโ€™s a way to go yet ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘Š

3footgiraffe 28 days into flower: Plants are coming along nicely, developing lots of frost and starting to smell quite a bit, a very intense zesty smell!..... the supersoil seems to be a bit nitrogen rich but hopefully it wonโ€™t cause too much of a problem heading into the second half of flower.

3footgiraffe Things are going well, they have started drinking a bit more.. buds are now starting to swell up noticeably between weeks ๐Ÿ˜Š the leaves are still pretty dark but thereโ€™s no issues that I can see, I am hoping to finish these after 10 weeks of 12/12 so this is hopefully the half way mark ๐Ÿ‘

3footgiraffe Day 41 of 12/12 I gave the soil a top dressing consisting of around a handful of each :bat guano :sea kelp and :beetle frass... Plants are really starting to mature, the pots are drying faster now so watering more, some of the pistils are turning orange and the buds are fattening up nicely, they look to be quite dense heavy buds ๐Ÿ˜Š My dehumidifier is now inside the tent keeping the RH in the appropriate range.

3footgiraffe Day 48 of 12/12 a couple of deficiencies showing up in the soil now so will will add a bit more lime and Epsom salt for the next lot. I have been removing a few of the larger fans bit by bit over the last few days to expose some of the shadowed buds and create some more airflow around the canopy... They are still drinking heavily and maturing very fast, the trichomeโ€™s are becoming cloudy, I think they will be ready in a couple of weeks ๐Ÿ˜‰

3footgiraffe 8 weeks old now! The harvest window is truly open... mostly cloudy trichโ€™s and the pistils are over 50% amber on most plants. The colaโ€™s are pretty large and dense, have mostly filled out as much as they possibly will. Harvest will be underway at some point over the next week so 9 weeks maximum for these Moby dicks. ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ˜‹

Happy Harvest Day!

Something that everyone enjoys, In a dry herb vape Iโ€™ve found it to be a very mellowing strain, no hard hitting effects, buds smell like citrus pure citrus and from 7 seeds they are all very similar.... it does cause dry eye but no paranoia or particularly undesirable effects..

3footgiraffe Absolutely love this strain, was a pleasure to grow, each plant was grown from seed and grew at a similar pace and size in 8.5 weeks. After drying for 9 days I separated the buds into brown paper bags for a few days and then trimmed. The taste and effects are almost identical from plant to plant. A really enjoyable smoke that can creep up on you quite fast and put you in the zone for some time. Moby Dick is on the cards to be grown again by me as I am enjoying it very much. ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Great grow dude, I have a question, I'm doing a mainline for the first time (8colas) I know right before flipping to flower i need to remove all growth below the top growth tips but what happens to the new nodes that will grow during flower? Do they get pruned along the way or left to do their thing? Thanks.
