Almost time to support the limbs. The weight is starting to stack. Never once had an issue with mildew out of these plants. The leaves are thin and lighter then the kush plant. They dont even need the sun to dry out.
These plants are troopers. Im finally getting somewhere with these aphids.
Anyone whos has these know how much they suck. Apparently they are an invasive species that became widespread 2 years ago. They seem to be only attracted to these 3 plants and not the Amnesia. Might be the smell 💪.
How to Eliminate Aphids.
Step one- The ants have to go. They are protecting the Aphids from predators. Sure fire way to stop them is by wraping sticky strips around the base of the plant. They wont dare cross it.
Step 2- The Male Apids have to go. Sticky sheets close by will do the trick.
Do those 2 steps along with some manual removal and you will slow down the Apids enough for some ladybugs to come lend a hand. You can also purchase them or Aphidoletes instead of waiting. The hard work pays off.
Ive cut back on the nuts/flushed them due to them not taking to it so well. They are starting to look better. 2 were already a lighter shade of green/yellow because they went through a reveg when cloned. The one has turned out great and the other one was already straggly looking to begin with but still better then I expected. Its going to be interesting to see what does better Veg or Reveg.
