Green Gelato RQS

Hello all! So, the summer heat is gone and it is time for new grow. This time i decided for Green Gelato from Royal Queen seeds (thank you James!!) I like to germinate seeds directly in soil, i had the best results with this technique. After 72h all the seeds germinated and came out of the soil. For first few days is will use CFL 110w, than i will switch to 400w hps. More info soon. Have a nice day! **Update day7** I am still using CFL110w light, today i will switch to HPS.

Day 14 in vegetation. Plants are doing fine, they started to get little yellow so i started to give them low dossage of nutrients ***** Day17, progress in last 72 hours was amazing. They grow real fast ***** Day 18, plants were topped.

It is week 3 already :) Girls were topped at day 16, 5 plants at 4th node and one at 3rd, because i broke the top :( i guess no big damage was done. Everything below the 3rd node was removed. Now i will give them some time to stretch, and than i will begin with lst.

Hello, this week girls made nice progress. This weekend i will start with LST. ***Day30*** LST day. I removed the lowest air leaves. I broke the first branch that i bend :/ i hope the zip-tie solution will help. Time will tell :)

Nice progress during this week. The middle brances are filling in. This week i will continue with LST and some defoliation. **** On day 38 i did some defoliation and LST.

Flowers recovered very well after defoliation. On some girls the lower branches cannot keep up with upper brances. I was thinking to top them again. What is your oppinion on this? I am feeding them on schedule and they get 500ml of solution every second day. Each ***** Day45 Sunday = fun day Today i removed all the lower/small grow and did some LST again.

Week7, time flies so fast. Plants are well, feeding them on schedule, i will let them grow for one more week, than switch to 12/12. Otherwise i will run out of space :) i am very happy with this grow. One plant that i broke the steam and than f9x it with zip ties recovered great. Today i removed them

Great progress in growth during this week. Theh filled the space very nice. I was planing to switch to 12/12 this week but unfortunately the plants have magnesium deficiency so i will try to fix it with epsom salt. I hope they will be ok soon. But overall they look great. Will do some defoliation too Day 60 I removed all the big fan leaves and lower growth. Next week i will switch to 12/12

This is probably the last week of vegetation. I will have to switch to 12/12, or i will run out of space :) More photos soon ******** 16.11 Today i will switch to 12/12. I prepared everything, i just need to change the bulb and ballast settings :) lets hope for the best.

First week on 12/12.

Nice progress was made during this week. I had to tie two nodes down that stretched much more than the other. White hairs are starting to show. I also need to reinforce my grow tent, the 800m3 fan was pulling him togedher like crazy :)

Day 21 on 12/12. I am very happy with progress. Tomorrow i will remove all the lower growth and small buds. This week i will start to give them terra bloom nutrients. ****** Day22, I removed all popcorn buds and big leaves. I hope i was not too hard on them :/

During this week i was worryed about defoliaton last week. But looks like it was not that stressfull for them. I will start to give them green sensation in this week.

Nothing special to say other than nice progress on bud developing during this week. The thent is filled out pretty nice. I am happy with the result so far.

It is flowering week 6 already. Buds are developing great, they are big and dense. And the smell is amazing :O This week i got my PH and EC meter. I mixed the solution, plagton, 5ml/L terra bloom and 1ml/l green sensation. My ph was 7 and only 1.4. I looked at the plagron chart and on week 6 EC should be arround 1.9. Should i add more terra bloom? Wouldnt that be too much? Best regards!

Nothing special to say during this week. I am amazed how strong the smell is. Do you think that is ok to defoliate big leaves at this stage? To get better airflow

Everything going ok during this week. I think next week i will start to flush them. Buds are frosty and solid. I wish u could smell them, its amazing. Best regards

The final week of flowering period has come :D today i flushed the plants with plain watter (ph 6.5 - 6-7). Next week i am planning to harvest them. They came out really nice and it is by far my favourite strain. Buds are dense, big and forsty. I cannot belive it how great they smell. Dont know how i will harvest them in the house, the whole thing will smell like crazy for at least one week :D i will probably take them down outside... One question for the next grow...our tap watter has ph arround 8.2...if u add ph down, to get ph arround 6.5, can i spray little plants - foliar with this watter that has ph down in it? By far my favourite strain, grows like crazy, i never had such big plants. Easy to grow, the only "problem" is smell, u need to have a big ass filter to neutralize the smell. Buds are big and frosty! I am very happy with result. My next round will be the sam strain. I love to grow it. RQS did it again, like always. Thank you James for all your help and result.
