Hello everyone!
On this diary I present Dinafem's Industrial Plant CBD. It is described to have 2,25:1 CBD:THC ratio so should be good option for me, because high THC strains are not good for me. Anxiety mainly. It sucks, but we should try to help ourselfs best as we can.
Put it to a glass of water for 24 hours and then between paper towels on the heater with a low temperature. It sprouted after one day and then I put it directly into final 15l pot. For 10 days I'm gonna water it with plain water. One of seeds has a 1 day late in sprouting and popping out through the soil, but seems to be healthy afterwards.
For a few hours I turned on humidifier and the water drops left on #1 seedlings. That's why she got these small burned points... Luckily I reacted fast and hopefully she didn't get stressed too much.
The soil I use is Plagron Lightmix with additional coco and perlit in small amounts.
Light is from amazon. It had good reviews so I gave it a try.
Have a nice day!
I started low feeding of 1ml of Advanced Nutrients Sensi Bloom A,B + Voodo Juice per liter of tap, dechlorinated water. Watering about 100ml per day. Wondering is it enough at this stage of growth. Starting to regret that I didn't make more of search before buying a lamp. The lamp should have about 500 PAR at 18" height, but I am afraid it is gonna be not enough during flowering. #1 is growing a little faster than the others, but the difference isn't huge. Nice green leaves color, they seem to grow very healthy. No deficiences or weird spots on the leaves. #3 is still 1 day behind the others. Until now no problems with the ladies. Hoping it will stay like that :) Regards!
After 3 weeks of veg I bought a new lamp. Mars Hydro TS 1000. I REGRET SO MUCH THAT I DIDN'T BUY IT FIRST. It is so much brighter and the light coverage is much more steady on the edges of the grow tent. I am pretty sure they would be bigger if i started with it from the seed. Whatever. Better later than never. Plants are healthy, but you can see #1 is a bigger one. Spaces between nodes are also longer. On her I also made some light LST. Nutrients are the same - Sensi Bloom from Advanced Nutrients, 1,5ml per liter of tap, dechlorinated water.
In the end of the week 3 I saw first pistils so I count week 4 as flowering stage. Huge growth since the last week. Just compare this photos! I have been giving her AN Sensi Bloom A+B 2ml and 1ml of Carboload per liter, but probably will slightly lower the dosage, because leaves seems to be a little bit to dark green for me. Don't know if i didn't give her too much Nitrogen. I also lowered a bit lamps which are both now in the tent to increase PPFD to maximum, but still there shouldn't be more than 800 PPFD in one spot so good. They also started to drink significantly more water.
Another week another update.
Nice, steady growth. Plants are healthy and I flushed 2 of them (#1 and #2) with plain water to remove possible salt buildup. One I didn't flush to check if there will be noticeable difference in taste or a growth. Now flowering started for real. Smell is normal. I like that I managed canopy to equal height in each plant. I can humbly say the LST was done right.
NUTRIENTS
pH Perfect Sensi Bloom Part A - 2ml/l
pH Perfect Sensi Bloom Part B - 2ml/l
CarboLoad Liquid - 1ml/l
Voodoo Juice - 1ml/l
Fed every 2nd/3rd day.
Happy growing everyone :)
Sory for late update. Busy week. Some N deficiency issues. No idea why. Despite this a lot of new pistils appear and also trichomes started developing. Smell is very pine lemon mix. Very fresh. Nutrient at the same dosage at the previous week, so will try to give them a bit more nitrogen. What do you think? Is it ok at this stage of flower?
Pretty sure that deficiencies problems were due a very hard tap water. I changed to normal mineral water and gave them one feeding without nutrients and now back to the previous schedule. It stopped stretching so I guess it is their final height. There are pretty equal in size and appearance. Just like dinafem promised. Buds are thickening. I read somewhere that in the last 2 weeks there are the biggest gains in size of the flowers so pretty excited how it will turn out. Have a nice day!
Overall everything going fine. Flowers are ripening and getting more and more weight. Still a lot troubles with yellowing leaves, mostly on #2 Industrial Plant. I guess there is a mix of previous salt built up and magnesium deficiency as well so I gave all of them one portion of Sensi Cal-Mag from Advanced Nutrients. Their appearance is quite similar, but the smell differs a lot. Two of them smells weakly and there is some piny, pepper, orange scents. However, the third one smells veeery sweet lemony. Similar to med gom I tried some time ago. In the few next days I will start flushing them. Don't care if I lost some yield due to earlier flush. The most important for me is quality. I bought also Flawless Finish from AN and will try it for the first time. Pretty stoked to be 2-3 weeks before harvest.
Flushing for 2 weeks so we are near the end! :) Cannot wait for final results.
Watering with PHed water with 2ml/l of Flawless Finish from Advanced Nutrients.
Outcome is very good smoke! One of my favourites BUT despite good conditions and nutrients it showed some deficiencies. Still don't know it was my fault or not, but other strains didn't look like Industrial Plant so... There are slight differences between each phenotype, but still they are more than similar to each other. I mean, you can see and smell they are sisters. One went very lemony, where the other one very woody. The third plant is somewhere between them with aroma. Pretty strong smoke despite 2:1 CBD:THC ratio. Recommend it for evening sessions. No paranoia, just small hint of anxiety on the beginning but I am very prone to it, so... Overall impression is very good.
